This carplay setup was truly plug-and-play—just connect, and it works seamlessly. The transition from wired to wireless is smooth, with no noticeable lag, and both CarPlay and Android Auto run flawlessly. It makes my trips so much fun.

I must say, this device was very easy to set up and actually connected CarPlay to my phone faster than my factory truck radio. And at first it seemed to function quickly and with everything working just fine. But the longer you use it, the quirkier it gets. Maybe it is heat related. I tried it in two vehicles, same exact results. Screen would just blank out randomly. And audio would get statically, breaking in and out. This is not good for playing music or trying to use your favorite GPS app. I returned it and replaced it with a different brand and so far, so good. Maybe I just got a defective unit, but I cannot recommend the iHeylinkit CarPlay unit at this time.

Works great with my 2023 Ionic 5 . It is easy to use, plug it to the USB port. Pair it with my Bluetooth Motorola Android phone. Android Auto starts automatically, have used it with both Google maps and Waze. No more USB to usb-c cable, constant charging and heating of phone. Comes with two cables, USB and USB C. Firmware can be updated, set a Peer-to-peer (P2P) connection. Folks running into issue should try to update firmware. Ip address is listed in instructions, search for videos on YouTube to update firmware, to set tp P2P connection. This is my daily driver now.

For some reason this device will not stay connected to my iPhones Bluetooth and that stinks especially when I’m using the Waze app for traveling. This item is the perfect size and is easy to mount however there is NO double sided tape with this item. The device comes with two different USB cables to fit your device. The usb cable is short which means you won’t be able to mount it to far away from your cars usb port

This adapter works great on my VW Tiguan. My car has Car Play already but it required me to plug in my Iphone to make it work. This nice little unit allows me to connect my Iphone wirelessly. It is easy to setup and once I had it setup my Iphone connects to it automatically. No more cables to deal with. I am very happy I found and bought this great little Car Play adapter.

I’ve enjoyed this product. It’s easy to set up in my Ford, very much a plug and plug-and-play. I did not give it five stars because occasionally it disconnects for no apparent reason. There is no short in my USB port, so we will see what kind of longevity it has. Other than that, works like a charm.
