Manually Install the Driver：Try updating the driver and maybe it will fix everything.
1.Enter the site,search for "Microsoft Update Catalog", look for "Xbox Wireless Adapter" in the search box. Find the version file that matches your Windows (a driver that doesn't match your Windows will prevent the adapter from working), download the file to a memorable folder. The WIN 10 Driver Title: Microsoft - Other Hardware - Xb Wireless Adapter for Windows
2.Click Start, type Device Manager, and press Enter. Left-click Network Adapters, right-click "Xb Wireless Adapter for Windows" and choose "Update Driver". Select "Browse my computer for driver software." Locate the folder where you extracted the driver in step 1. Then, choose next.
3.Once the driver update is successful, restart the computer. Press the pairing button on the wireless adapter for 3 seconds, which should now start flashing slowly. Press and hold the button on your XB wireless controller for syncing, and two should connect.
Note: The light on the adapter did not illuminate after pressing the button for 3 seconds or disconnected randomly. You must:
1) Download/update the driver
2) Use a USB extension cable
3) Restart the controller

I bought this because it allows for magic pocketing, meaning it can be used to allow the xbox controller to wake the PC. It worked great for using my gaming pc in the living room, jsut grab a controller and sit your but on the couch. But the controller stopped staying paired to it and eventually wouldn't pair to it after just a few short weeks. Maybe mine was just a bad apple.

This thing is super simple to use it really doesn’t get much easier. You plug it into the motherboard or your ports on top of the pc and instantly it’s ready to work. There is absolutely no connection isssues weather it’s connecting the controller or just playing the game. It’s never disconnected or done anything outside of what it’s made to do. The build quality is nice. Nothing crazy but it gets the job done. The nice black design makes it blend into my pc so it’s not to noticeable! Most of these things run 40$ and for this price it really doesn’t get much easier to make a decision on buying this!

Not "plug and play." The item was placed into every USB port on my Window's 10 PC that is up-to-date as of May 2025. The computer did not even recognize the devise was plugged in to a USB port. The device did not turn on. No drivers were available on the website or link to drivers on Amazon. It did not connect to the Xbox One S controller. Returning this item.

Sitting here wondering why I cant get it to work, after it auto installed the drivers. I said screw it a restart wont hurt anything, all of a sudden it works as advertised. So install drivers, restart, push buttons to sync, you should see a white light flashing, and symc your controller. All set.

Scatola scarna, nessun manuale ma con Windows 11 Pro e un joypad per Xbox One non bluetooth funziona alla perfezione. Inserita la chiavetta in un porta USB e atteso qualche minuto affinché il sistema installasse automaticamente i drivers necessari.
