I haven’t got to use it yet due to waiting for a replacement glass tube. I’m hoping I don’t have to return the whole thing because the rest is not broken.

Ordered 3 sets to begin winemaking. Nice set up and complete kits but in two of three boxes the racking canes were snapped in half and, therefore, unusable. Otherwise very happy.

This is a great product if you are some what new or don't wont to do a bigger 6 gallon. The bucket works great for fermenter fruit before having to rack into a nice 3vgallon carboy. I recommend using the airlock it comes with as it seems to sell much better then the s locks. It comes with all the tools. You will still need to buy the supplies needed to make your wine or beer like fruit sugar and yeast but I highly recommend this.

It arrived earlier than stated, everything included in package was well wrapped and protected. Can't wait to try it out.

I purchased this kit with no issues, I read reviews on products before I buy anything and noticed the 2 biggest complaints were some of the items were broken when they arrived....unfortunately that’s a risk you take when you ship something made of glass. I’m sure the product was not broke when they packed it....that wouldn’t make a lot of sense right? So I couldn’t blame the the company for that and if you read the whole review, the item was replaced with no issues, the other bad reviews were the kit didn’t have instructions, this makes me wonder if these folks have done any research at all on making wine, obviously not!!!! I myself have never made wine but I also realize this is a kit to get you started because I took the time to read and understand the process to making wine to help me decide what kit is best for me...do your homework then figure out which kit is best for you. I chose this kit and completely satisfied, actually looking to purchase another to start different flavors

Great products! A few tutorial videos and do your homework, like understanding sanitizing, recording your hydro thermometer reading before and after and a great recipe. You'll have a great product for your friends and you to enjoy.Everything showed up in great condition, would definitely order more if I decide to go a little bigger for variety.Only down side is the air locks tend to wiggle them selves free from the glass carboy. But no big deal, I used copper wire and made a homemade clamp to hold it in place.

I have used this to make two batches of wine so far, My first batch dies not look that good but the second seems to be good so far. we are just about to the bottling stage with the second batch, I am having to re-ferment the first batch though, I think I did not make enough. If you are a beginner this is a wonderful kit to start your journey off. It comes with everything you need except fruit. and yeast. You do get a wonderful recipe book to get you started. I have used two of the recipes.

Although I am giving this a five star, I am not totally happy, because the "kit" did not have the stated racking/siphon hose, and the air lock that came with it, was smashed to bits. The racking cane was cracked as well. Thankfully, these are inexpensive items which can be replaced easily. I happen to have a few air locks from my last brewing adventure. I am mainly going five star because the car boy is FABULOUS!!!! It is just the right size, and thick glass. I totally love the carboy. I also like the size of the fermenting bucket, and the fact that it is already drilled. Shipping was very fast, and it is really nice equipment. I still have some more wine making equipment coming, as this is NOT a full set up, and you cannot make wine with only this stuff-- well, maybe you can, but you need things like bottles, corker, yeast, various things like bentonite clay, cheese cloth, etc., and a book if you are a total beginner. Thank you Winemakers Depot. I am sure the smashed air lock, and forgotten syphon hose were oversights. You made up for it by sending a fabulous Carboy!

Great equipment for the small cost. I am a first-time wine maker / beer brewer although I have friends that do it. I bought this kit not knowing if I would like to do this as a hobby, so I wanted to only spend a minimal amount and this kit is actually a great buy now that I've done more looking into this hobby.First I want to thank the supplier for replacing a broken hydrometer quickly. The intial one in the package was broken and they replaced it within a week.I am now into my second week of fermentation for the wild grapes that I picked and everything is going well.If you are new to this hobby, please be aware that everything that you read online is subjective and you'll never read the same instructions twice, anywhere, so in the end you may be confused. Try to digest what you read but visit a brew store and ask an actual wine maker what to do. Face-to-face is much better. It's a fun hobby and I'll have 22 oz bottles of home-made wine to hand out for Christmas.I would recommend the supplier of this kit and it comes with almost everything you need to start. I bought additional C-Brite, Star San Sterilizer, and yeast. You may decide to buy other items as you learn, which I have done.
