I've been working in the hospitality industry for over 25 years and this is one of the best openers I've ever used. A little pricey but worth it. I bought a second one, just in case I lose my first one which I've been using for 6 months and all the cheap ones I bought needed to be replaced after a couple of months.

I will not open a fine bottle of wine with a cheap opener. The Corkas looks good feels good in your hand and works great. You can pay more for our opener, but you won’t get one any better. What more do you want so let’s give it a five star. Happy sipping. CW😎

I'm a bartender in fine dining. I open bottles all day, every day. Even my wine rep Robert commented on how nice it is when he borrowed it.

Dependable wine opener with no batteries or charging required and takes up much less space in kitchen. Nice double hinge functionality to make removing cork easier.

Very high end wine opener. Excellent build quality. The double hinged wine opener is the best innovation in wine openers. This particular wine opener is larger than normal. Definitely not a carry with you wine opener.

I was a server for many years, and remember opening sometimes close to a dozen wine bottles per night. This is not the tool you want to use for that. It's pretty and well made, but its slimness and uncovered metal edges bite into the palm of the hand, and the angle of the curvature can make you misplace your hand in a way where it can be easily (and painfully) pinched. If you just need a backup corkscrew, it does the job well enough, it's sturdy, and it looks pretty- just remember to be careful where you grip it!

It felt much more expensive than I'd expected it to, given the price. It looked beautiful and worked well for awhile. However, just a few weeks in, some screw came loose (attachment? whatever the technical term is) and I couldn't close the wine opener anymore. It also made it difficult to get the corkscrew into the cork in a straight line. Maybe I just got a faulty one, but I can't recommend as of now.

I don't drink wine much but when I want to I need a corkscrew. This is a handsome piece. The rosewood and polished stainless steel is beautiful. The engraving on the backstrap is a nice touch. In use, I have yet to be defeated with this corkscrew. I haven't broken a cork but was able to remove a broken cork successfully. The DOUBLE-HINGED FULCRUM has been very useful depending on the bottle. The foil cutter and bottle opener have also been immeasurably convenient. A great purchase with, I believe, many years of excellent service in the future.

This is heavy, well made and the detail is excellent. It's a beautiful product especially for a £10. I use one of these a lot and both the bottle opener (which is a lift type not a push down type) and the corkscrew ar excellent. The corkscrew has a channel going down the entire spine and that allows air in to release any vacuum in the cork screw hole. It comes off so easily. Not too much more I can say other than if you need a corkscrew/bottle opener go no further. this one just works great. We had a dinner party the other day and I left this on the table whilst I poured the wine, it was passed around and admired. Everyone though it looked hand made.

Defiantly a thing of beauty and well engineered. The wooden handle is so tactile. Nicely packed in a gift type box. It makes getting to your wine easy.

BEAUTIFUL DESIGN AND SMOOTH FEELThis was a most pleasant surprise in a parcel that arrived. I really love this hand crafted corkscrew. It looks exactly as advertised very beautiful design and looks delicate. It has a really nice feel to hold. Easy to work out and doesn't slip while opening wine. When I'm in front of guests, I do not want all the attention on me unscrewing the cork from the corkscrew. This pull has a wonderful, soft, hefty, manageable feel to it. A little plus: The narrow, minutely serrated-edge blade pulls out with the help of a fingernail. With other corkscrew openers, pushing the opener into the bottle can hurt your hands, This was very easy to put the wine opener in the bottle and pull the cork out of the bottle. It's portable and convenient. Our family use it not only at home but also when camp. Overall top marks, superb quality for the price, I would recommend this.If you found this review helpful, could you pls hit the YES button below and give me a feedback!
