I like this journal over others because every left side page is blank and I put the wine label there ( using a wine lifting film also bought on Amazon) so much easier to find a particular wine than reading all the page headings. The only drawback is by the time the whole book is filled it doesn't close completely. I'm in a wine tasting group so this is theSecond and third of this journal I've purchase. Finally decided to have one for reds and one for whites. I learned a lot from wine folly and this journal has the most ratings that follow with my thinking about wines. It's more expensive than many but high quality. Look for deals that once in awhile appear

As a self-proclaimed foodie, I have just begun my journey into wine and started with the Wine Folly site before even coming across this wine journal. Previously I had been writing down little notes in a spiral notebook and decided it was time to upgrade myself to something I could reference more easily. That’s when a search for a wine journal brought me to this one and it does not disappoint. The book itself is good quality with decently strong binding, and plentiful pages to allow for a long journey of wine tasting without the worry of having to get another journal anytime soon. While it has a traditional silk-like page holder, I purchased some of those sticky side labels for books or whatever to allow me to organize my journal by wine types, otherwise I will never be able to go back and reference a wine once I have filled out more pages.Still, despite this, the pages go into such great detail about the characteristics of a wine that I don’t even have the vocabulary yet to utilize it all. It certainly helps me differentiate the terms I’m using when describing a wine while I’m still new to the world of wine.

A beautiful, must-have gift for any wine lover. A non-pretentious way to take notes on a new (or old) wine that makes the wine tasting experience fun for every wine enthusiast. If you haven’t already purchased the Master Guide, stop everything you’re doing and add that to your cart too.

Content inside is very useful. Book is too small and should be standard size like a writing journal or moleskin note pad

the only thing I wish about this wine journal was that it was more affordable! Outside of that, it's super handy to add to your arsenal of wine knowledge. I've worked as a manager at a beer and wine store for about a year now and this has helped me to keep my wine in line. It gives just enough space that making detailed notes doesn't seem excessive. It hits on the big points of wine (acidity, tannins, boldness, etc) in an easily approachable way and the book itself? It's gorgeous! Looks good sitting on the dining room table, the coffee table, or a bookshelf! The blank page makes for a great spot to place wine labels in order to have a visual with your written work. If you're serious about wine, or wanting to get on that level, I would highly recommend getting this!
