It's stunning to look at but difficult to wash and dry. Very delicate and have already got a couple of minor chips on the lengthy, angled spout as it's hard to rinse under the tap.

Serves the purpose . . . in the opinion of this "amateur sommelier," decanting really does improve the flavor of red wine. The shape of the decanter is quite elegant, but it's very hard to figure out exactly how the "glassblower" got it together, which may account for our one criticism that it seems "kinda" heavy for easy table top serving. UPDATE: Glass around pouring lip not properly tempered, and despite careful use, the lip has become chipped in several areas. Disappointed, and will look elsewhere for a replacement.

This decanter works very well and pours out well also. The style is fun and interesting and the size is perfect. The only downside is cleaning due to the shape.

Beautiful used in a unity ceremony for a wedding. The way the wines (red & white) swirled in made it aesthetically pleasing as part of a ceremony.

I was given this by a neighbor who presented it with flowers in it as a vase. It was beautiful! Then my cat pushed it off the counter and it broke, and I liked it so much I replaced it with the same one. (By mistake, I first bought a similar looking one which on arrival did not have the exact shape that was so appealing, so I returned it and bought this one.) I love it! But I need to keep it out of the way of my cat...
