The decanter is a gift so I can't comment on its use. However, I can say it was packed well and arrived whole. It is packaged nicely so I'm proud to give it as a gift and the quality seems good. I'm not sure how well it will work as it is on a small piece of metal for a pivot and seems like it might be easy to tip over, but time will tell on that! There was a nice instructional video online when I ordered it, but it doesn't come with printed instructions or a pic of it being used for the gift recipient to view.

Aesthetically this decanter is well made. It's definitely an eye catcher empty or full. Be careful when rolling it around as it is prone to become imbalanced and roll out of the base.
