My original set like this back in 1973 was made of aluminum and bent easily, this set is good and sturdy. Easy to clean, always looks brand new no matter how many times it's been in the dishwasher.

I've been looking for these measuring spoons, they are very similar to the ones I had 40 years ago. I LOVE them!! They are light weight and very easy to handle.

Easy to read labels. I use the tablespoon to clean seeds and strings out of butternut squash. It’s sharp enough for scooping. These spoons are good but not as sturdy as the vintage ones.

I don't know what everyone is complaining about. These are not too shallow. If people want ladle type spoons with deep bowl- shaped reservoirs they are free to order those instead. These are great for measuring liquids and powders. These make it much easier to measure liquids than the round, ladle type measuring spoons because the spoons are wide and you have plenty of time to see the liquid approaching the edge so that you can pull the bottle back so that you don't over-pour.These are stainless steel, not overly heavy but not lightweight either. I have several old sets of this type of spoon set and these are the sturdiest. They were more aluminum like in the past, these are a great replica on a mid-century, classic style measuring spoon.The measurements are accurate, I did a set to set comparison of liquids and the difference was within a hairline -- very nominal, if any, difference. Anyone that says they are not is probably unknowingly comparing these to an already inaccurate set -- there are many of those out there in the wild. I don't think ten grains of salt one way or another is going to ruin a recipe.I recommend this set but especially if you are replacing a similar style vintage set which may have sentimental value and hold cherished family memories.

There were purchased to replace a set that had lost some spoons over the years. These are much the same - lightweight, easy to use and clean, and appear to be accurate enough for most purposes. Certainly not high-end or sophisticated, but definitely fit for purpose.
