The spoons look about as I'd expect from the photos, but the cups are not as high quality as you'd think. They have sharp edges all around and have no finish of any kind, they look like they're straight off the mill. I took this photo after soaking them for a few minutes in soapy water (which ended up really really dark and yellow, make sure you wash before use!). I also took an extra photo after I rubbed them with some of my cutting board oil. I only oiled the 1 Cup and 1/4 Cup measures and the last two photos are a close up of the 1/4 Cup before and after oil. It looks a little nicer with the oil on, but still not what I expected to receive from the photos.Last but certainly the most important is that these cups don't seem super accurate. Comparing to the metal measuring cups from Target I've been using for the last few years, each of these wooden cups seem to hold different amounts. The 1 cup and 1/4 cup measures overflow after I've added the equivalent measure I've been using before, and the 1/2 and 1/3 cup measures are about 1/4" - 1/2" empty.The spoons also don't seem to hold a comparable amount to my old measuring spoons. I guess I really have no way to know which ones are more accurate, but I'm more inclined to trust the Target brand, and the way these measuring cups and spoons don't even hold similar amounts to my old ones is concerning.I can't imagine that the measuring differences are enough to make that much of a change in my recipes so I'm going to keep this product and use it anyway. But overall I was a little bit disappointed with what I received vs what I thought I was buying.

The measurements for the spoons are marked on the spoons themselves, however there are no measurements on the cups at all. There is no leather cord on the cups and the wood is very dull, no polish or shine like the spoons have. It's like they sent me blanks of the cups. Disappointed. The spoons are cute but I think they're largely going to be decorative. Don't think accurate measurements will be had from these spoons.
