The pic is right next to my 2M/70cm CompacTenna because I was comparing height, but it will go on the other side of the car once I put some PPF down. This isn't as good as the OTR antenna, but it is a WHOLE lot less PITA for use on a normal car / truck. If you have a roof rack, maybe the overland mounts works out but I've all but given up on the OTR antenna installed on a Diamond HRKS mount. This mag mount greatly simplifies the install and living with it installed (easy to take off for a car wash etc) while still out performing the shark fin or stubby monopole antennas that Wilson offers.

I purchased the weBoost unit for my work truck that came with the short/stubby antenna. For the most part, the unit works well except when you drive into a valley. You can still hear people, but they can't hear you.I thought I would try and test with this antenna and immediately, my signal strength increased and I experienced no drop-outs in areas that I would typically not be heard. It is 100% worth the money as an upgrade.

Works good on my 4G booster. I use it for work in remote areas. Not a huge boost but a couple more bars does the trick. Just screw it on, couldn’t be easier. I’d recommend it to anyone

Have used this antenna with both an older Wilson Electronics (pre-Weboost rebrand) 460108 Mobile 4G Signal Booster Kit and the weboost drive reach to provide better reception than the standard mini-mag stub antennas. If you have the Drive X or Drive Sleek, my understanding is those use a different connector.Having it on one car for a little under the year, I haven't had any issues with paint peeling/rusting/breaking.To re-emphasize per some disappointed reviewers here - this is just the antenna. There is no booster. You will need either a device that has a direct antenna outlet (and an adapter if the antenna port is not SMA), or a cellular booster with an SMA port (or again, an adapter if it is not SMA) for this to boost your cellular reception.

I purchased the Wilson Electronics 311125 Dual-Band Magnet Mount Antenna to monitor an 800MHz P25 TRS with a scanner, and for that purpose it has exceeded my expectations. Using any of my current antennas I was lucky to get 1 bar with garbled transmissions. Using this little antenna I get 3 bars and clear reception. It even works very well on 400 MHz UHF signals. I'm very happy with it.

This works well with Weboost. I don’t know if it works any better than the antenna that came with Weboost - have not tested it. What I like is that the antenna is above my roof rack and solar panels and it is on the roof with just a magnet. That thing has stayed on the roof is bad weather, 85 mph driving, low tree limbs, etc. I love that I didn’t have to get up there and screw it to anything. And I can move it around as I need to in the future. I just snake the cord along a seam into the door and to the Weboos unit.

Regardless of whether this is a male or female connector, it doesn’t fit Drive Reach or Drive Sleek. The connector is wrong and there is a metal housing around the connector that blocks it even if it was the right connector. False advertising and I have zero idea how anyone in here say it works—perhaps on older models. I ordered new units and it worked on neither. Completely useless and if it is for sale with other systems it needs to be clearly labeled as such.

I am complete confused as to how people are breaking these antennas. We bought ours from Amazon in 2015 and we swap it from my truck to our boat continuously and have never broken it. I have accidently left it on my truck in car washes, hit the garage door when pulling into garage and never broken it. I would imagine that anyone breaking these are grabbing the top of the antenna when removing it and that is user error, not the products fault. It works flawlessly with our Drive sleek and older Drive S. This is a great antenna for the smaller cell boosters, not so much for the drive-x. It is a great antenna for Verizon, I cannot speak as to other carriers.

I used this with a Weboost Drive Reach and it's a decent improvement over the small fin antenna included with the Reach. My wife and I were at a campground in northern Maine where our cell phones do not receive a signal, but the campground office has a very expensive weboost booster and a huge antenna that gives them a decent signal. With the fin antenna, we were around -100db, which gave us somewhat OK cell service. With this antenna, our signal improved to -80 to -90db, which is a great improvement. Of course, it's important to remember that this antenna just pulls in a signal -- if there is no signal, there's no antenna in the world that will work. And, if the signal is only a 2G signal (like at the campground we were at), then there's no way any antenna or signal booster is going to give you 4G!We live in a rural area in central Maine and there are several dead spots on our commute to our jobs 20 miles away. With the Drive Reach and this antenna, we have a very strong signal all the time in our area! This was well worth the money for us!

I ordered for of these for my router so I could boost my signal range out side. Definitely works for that, I have a range of about 1000ft now (line of sight). This required an adapter to attach to a router. 3 stars is because I got a broken one (snapped at base magnet) and was required to send it back on my own dime for a refund. That's half the cost of the item just for shipping, then there is my time, and gas money to drive to town (I live in the country). Wasn't worth the hassle so I ate the cost...
