These are nice youth ball pants. The elastic waist with the drawstring and the belt loop option are very nice features that help these pants fit on children nicer than others. The material has a thick feeling to them so they are a bit warmer than other pants my son has used, but they feel like they would be able to withstand sliding to the bases. The only issue I found is that they run pretty big. My 8 year old has over an inch of excess material in the waist even with the strings tied and a belt worn. He will have to save these for next year.

I got this for my 4yr old son who is loving baseball just like his big brother. The quality of the pants is very nice, thick quality. However, the pants fit him larger than expected. I would say maybe go with the smaller size if your kid is in between sizes, like mine. Regardless of fitting large, the fabric is soft and stretchy. Once they do fit him well, I'm sure he won't want to take them off!

I cannot tell you how excited I was to find these pants! These are a MUST for any Tball/Smaller size player who wants to wear pants like their hero’s, that have belt loops! I cannot tell you the struggle we’ve been through to find pants for my little guy that not only have the elastic waist, BUT, also has belt loops! He wants to wear a belt, like all the MLB players do, but little pants don’t come with them and it’s been incredibly frustrating. I’m so happy to have found these! They fit great, they look great, and this is exactly how little ball pants should be made!The material is thick, moisture-wick, but it’s also very soft. It has extra material sewn inside the seat of the pants, which is great for sliding.My child wears a 6 slim in jeans and these 5T pants for him perfectly. They go all the way to his ankles, and can easily be pushed up to the knees if knickers is needed. The waist has an elastic band plus a drawstring cord. Just pulling them up, they were a touch big on my slim child, the elastic wasn’t tight, it was a little loose. When I pulled the drawstring and put the belt on, it was a perfect fit. They fit straight down the legs, and are not baggy at all. This means these pants would work for either boys or girls without an issue. Most girls wear knickers at the knee, but again, these can easily be adjusted to the knees.If you’re a small player parent who needs elastic /drawstring PLUS belt loops, these are the pants for you! I cannot thank the manufacturer enough for making these.
