The value isn't terrible, which is why I gave this 4 stars. I really like the fresh earth scent of these sheets. I don't really use them in the dryer, but I take one and store it in my plastic tote with my hunting gear. My clothes smell like the great outdoors when I open it up. If it is a windy day in the stand, I will take one with me and hang it on a limb in front of me to help mask any scent. I will be buying these again!

These are amazing! Worth it in my opinion! I get multiple packs for stocking stuffers each year and everyone loves these.

As some have said, these are too strong for actual hunting. They smell terrific, but I can't say I've ever smelled woods in fall that smell like that. However, I go through a couple packs of these dryer sheets every season. Not on my hunting clothes, but on the load that I put through the dryer right before my hunting clothes. Like most people, we do all of the family's laundry in the same washer and dryer. I used to run an empty washer load before my hunting gear went in, and I used to wipe down the dryer with alcohol before I put my hunting clothes in the dryer. Total pain, but it seemed to help. Now, I run a regular laundry load (preferably a hot load) with a scent-free soap (usually Sportwash) and then run that load through the dryer with one of these Autumn Formula dryer sheets. The family's laundry comes out smelling nice - there's a light perfume smell from these dryer sheets. More importantly for me, the other fabric softener we use gets cleaned out of the dryer by the clothes, heat, and these sheets. It's not perfect, but seems to work for the deer, and it's much easier than trying to wipe down the inside of the dryer. Then when I run my hunting clothes in the next load, I use scent-free detergent in the wash and regular scent-free hunting dryer sheets in the dryer. My clothes come out very unscented this way, and what little there is is probably just a faint fall smell that the deer don't seem to detect or care about.

I know bowhunters that seem to get game without good scent control. Good for them! But I don't get to hunt in a game rich environment. To have as many opportunities as possible, I've taken scent control seriously. Scent Killer products seem to work very well. A dryer sheet seemed like overkill to me, though. If you use it once, you'll think differently. The perfume smells of fabric softeners stay in the dryer to some degree. These sheets (and there are different scents) keep those perfumes from being the scent on your dry hunting clothes. They also make a great duffle bag add-in for those of us who don't want to spend a lot of money on a "no scent" clothing bag. Just drop a sheet in with your packed hunting clothes to help in scent control. As a test, I used one of the dryer sheets with some of my leisure clothing washed in scented detergent and softener. The sheet did not completely mask the cleaning products' perfumes even to my nose (and deer are MUCH more sensitive). I wouldn't use these as substitutes for a scent control detergent for hunting clothes, therefore, but as a part of very good scent control. I have hunted undetected without using these--but they are both helpful in by duffle bag when transporting my hunting clothes and add a degree of confidence that captive perfumes in our dryer from our normal laundry products will not be transferred to my hunting clothes.
