Some people frown on this product, but it's good. Pleasant smell. Follow instructions the best you can and it should turn out fine.

Very good product, works when used as directed, the seller on the other hand was stellar, the hand written note was a wonderful unexpected addition to the order. Will definitely buy again from this seller either through AMZN or directly, God Bless!

This works well as long as you probably clean the hide. I used this to try doing a buck mount myself, The hide that I scraped turned out very well. The head area that was not as clean did not fair so well. I abandoned the mount and just cut the top off so I could keep the well tanned hide.

first off I ditched the instructions on this bottle. I fleshed the hide really well, then salted it and let it somewhat dry then scraped it. then I made it in to a buckskin so I removed the hair after I washed it again I let it dry enough where I can scrape it really well then I put it in an avid bath for about a week. then I deneutrallized it then I washed it with soap and bleach. let it dry enough. I got the hide warm and the oil warm and applied it. the hide sucked it in really welll as it was drying I began to break it when it was about dry I applied neatfoot oil. It came out really soft

Not a bad product for the price. Works well to preserve hides but don't expect high-quality leather with this stuff. Good for making traditional mount taxidermy (dries very hard). Not great for soft, supple leather. I would recommend using mink oil alongside this product for a softer tan, but it doesn't come close to what you get using professional products like TruBond 1000B.
