Wii Xtreme 2 Wireless Guitar

I’m totally new to Guitar Hero and rhythm games in general, and after seeing some old gameplay videos, I decided to give it a shot on my old Wii. I picked up the Hyperkin Hyper Strummer as my first guitar controller, and I’m honestly really impressed.As a beginner, I was worried it would be hard to get used to, but the setup was super simple. You just slide in your Wii remote and you’re ready to go—no weird syncing or extra steps. It feels really responsive and comfortable in my hands, and I got the hang of hitting notes within the first day of playing.The buttons are easy to press (but not too soft), and the strum bar has a nice click to it that makes everything feel satisfying. I’ve mainly been playing Guitar Hero III and Rock Band 2, and the controller works great with both.If you’re just getting into Guitar Hero or want something that doesn’t feel intimidating, this is a great pick. It made learning the game really fun instead of frustrating. Highly recommend for new players like me!

Do yourself a favor and buy this guitar!! Design and look of the guitar was very sleek and easy to hold.Not only was the guitar very responsive, but the whole family had so much fun.If you’re looking to not break the bank and have the most fun, definitely buy this. I’d buy from Hyperkin to play with my other consoles.

A Blast from the Past….!!!Picking up this plastic axe again after all these years – instant nostalgia! The buttons still feel “perfect” – that satisfying click of the fret keys and springy strum bar take me right back to 2007.This wasn't just a controller – it was a time machine. From nailing solos in "Sweet Child O' Mine" to epic fails on "Through the Fire and Flames", that click-clack of the buttons was our rhythm. The whammy bar's still fun to abuse, and the tilt-activated Star Power? Pure magic.Verdict: 10/10 for feel, 11/10 for nostalgia. My fingers may be slower, but these buttons still play like a dream. Just bought this guitar. It's an amazing budget option. I was hesitant at first. Because I saw comments saying the WII remote doesn't fit and the plastic is hard. They must have fixed it, because the holder for my remote is a lot softer. Ive been using it for a while, and there us no issues with the buttons or anything. Great purchase!

Don’t waste your money.I just purchased mine brand new at the end of March and already a month and a half later the strumming controller doesn’t work when you strum up.Very upset

Excellent quality guitar. This option is so much better than buying a used one online hoping it still works. There are a lot of broken guitars floating around online for sell. It happened to me.

Item not only does not work but it has so many marks and it definitely looks used and abused. The item does not work which is really sad and just beyond disappointing. Don’t waste your money buying from here

Having just brought out my Wii and in the process of purchasing games again that I had back in the day I stumbled upon this niche product released in 2024. I owned all of the guitar hero and rock band games for Xbox 360 back in the day but got a good deal on those games on the Wii and didn't want to purchase a used controller so this was absolutely perfect for me.I play on medium-hard and am not a pro guitar game so the quality of the controller was perfectly fine for me but I would say it wasn't as high quality as the official ones from back in the day. Weird to release a new product for a long discontinued console but for me it fit the bill perfectly and am very thankful!
