What can I say, another great bit from my go to brand for router bits. There are cheaper router bits than Whiteside, but you get what you pay for. I do a lot of dovetail joints for cabinet drawers and always have at least a couple of these on hand. Anyone who's done much machining of baltic birch knows it can be hard on cutters and how easily it burns with a dull bit, which means your glue won't absorb as well and your joint is weaker. In my experience these hold an edge better than brands like Freud and Amana, and way better than cheap knockoff brands.

This bit worked very well in my Porter Cable dovetail router jig. Clean cuts with minimal if any tear out. I consider it an upgrade over my original bit.

Did it's job. Expect a decent service life from it. Have several Whiteside bits in service, never disappointed.

I was making dovetail drawer joints using baltic birch plywood sides. My prior bit lasted for one drawer. The Whiteside bit finsihed the job (16 more drawers) and is still cutting without tearout.

I bought these bits completely on previous experience. I purchased a Whiteside Raised Panel matched set several years ago and have put them thru a hundreds of feet of Oak board and also Hickory they have performed flawlessly! The carbide remains sharp and still gives an excellent cut. I figured if these cutters perform this good this dovetail bit will be of the same quality.Buy Whiteside you won't be disappointed!
