Whiteside Machine Company was founded in 1970 as a general purpose machine shop in the basement of Bill & Bobbie Whiteside's home. Located in Western North Carolina near the furniture manufacturing town of Hickory, the company was often involved in making repairs or special parts for the furniture and woodworking field. Love the Whiteside bits. Bought the dovetail set for doing fancy dovetails with my Incra LS Positioner router setup. It did not disappoint. I also plan on trying my hand with a CNC router as well.

Router bit world needs to update this listing. I love these sellers and often buy from the directly but in this case I needed the bits pronto so AMAZON to the rescue! Opened up my package only to find that the nice case pictured is not what you will get. You will get the most important parts which are the router bits themselves, but you get them in a much cheaper case. So if you don't mind the cheap case these are the bits you want!

I been buying there bits for a long time and don’t have any problems with them and I they are very good. It just pisses me off that they show the router bits in a nice case and they actually state that they come in the red case pictured, but I received them today with a very cheap plastic case. It would have been alright if they had started and pictured them in the cheap plastic case. Not sure if I am going to keep them. It’s just the principle of it.

Used two dovetail bits in an INCRA router table system where the accuracy on the DT needs to be accurate for the templates. Works great and seem sot gut very nicely.

It's very nice to have real router bits I can turn to instead of the dime a dozen offshore imports that dull in a couple heart beats. Lots of heft to these bits and quite sharp. Worth it.

If you own an Incra router table you must get this. They are special bits obvious whiteside quality. This kit comes with the most used dovetails of your tamplates and straight bits for the box joints. I use this with my TS-LS joinery setup.

Very happy with everything. The bits are perfect - cannot find a flaw no matter how hard you look. The plastic case is great - individual cutouts, sturdy foam, locking lid. Price is very fair. Shipping was (as usual...) very fast.
