Good quality router bit. I use this bit for carving out letters and and patterns for signs. It has a good quality sharp edge and leaves a smooth cut.

Up until now I have been using the V bit that came with my CNC and I've been getting average results. It was good as a starter, but I wasn't getting anything as nice as what I'm seeing on Youtube. On a whim I decided to purchase this Whiteside 60* V bit and I have been amazed at the difference. My V carves are now crisp and clean and the carving noise has been significantly reduced. My eyes have been opened to the difference having a quality bit can make.My experience with this bit, and my other WhiteSide purchases, is that they produce a quality tool at a more acceptable price than the "premium" brands in this market space. I would have no issue recommending this bit and WhiteSide as a whole.

Much better than cheaper bits I've tried. It's ran 12 hours in brass with no signs of dulling yet.

I’m pretty new at using routers. I started out buying one of those $25 router bit sets that was good for 1 or 2 cuts. I learned about Carbide. I started buying Bosch bits. I wanted to make a couple signs. I needed a 60 degree carving bit to make the signs I wanted to make. I bought a bit for around $17 that was supposed to be carbide with nano coating. I can’t remember or pronounce the name. It cut okay for the first 6-7 letters and started dulling and being more and more difficult to do what I wanted. I bought this Whiteside bit. What a difference. So, this is actually carbide. Everything else is coated or something. This bit cut through 28 letters on pine and then 41 letters in oak like hot butter. Instead of getting dull after a few minutes. It never did seem to dull. Lesson learned.

Very sharp, well packaged . I love Whiteside router bits, their a little expensive but worth it. They hold their edge. You get what you pay for. I think it's made in USA , Nuff said.
