I am not a veteran user of this type of ink, but I have tried it on resin and I think it is a very interesting additive that can create some very cool effects. As others have pointed out, this is a subtle white. It won't overpower other colors if you use just a small amount of it. I also agree that it doesn't sink in as much as advertised. However, you can create interesting effects with it once you give it a try. The bottle is a little leaky, however, which is not a good thing with an alcohol based paint.

A little goes a long way. It produces great white cells and is also easy to use. I would recommend this product.

My son makes D&D dice and he was hoping to use this in different designs. The texture was off (too liquid) and it didn't do what the specs said it would. Other reviews say the same things. While the color was to be white, it was more translucent than anything. We wouldn't recommend this until you're a beginning testing things out.

I'm rating this 3 star, but in reality it is a 5/1 star - 5 stars for the ink, 1 star for the container. The ink is labeled "sinker", and I guess technically it did, but it didn't behave the way I was expecting for a sinker ink. Instead, it behaved absolutely beautifully as a mixer/diluter of overly intense colors, and as that, my daughter and I both loved it and will certainly be using it regularly ... as soon as I can get a better container. The one that it came in is a nightmare. It's got the same cap as regular UV resin, even though it's an alcohol ink. Spoiler alert: Alcohol ink is NOT the same viscosity as UV resin! It's so thin, in fact, that it just ran straight down the threads of the cap and all over my hand when I turned it right side up. And that was with my poking a pinhole into the cover instead of taking the entire cover off (I was attempting to avoid the mess other users had experienced). I can't imagine if I'd just removed the cover like it was UV resin. I am honestly uncertain of how I'm even supposed to safely put this away, lest the bottle get knocked over and stain my shelves. I certainly cannot use it in this state. I'm going to have to get a new container ASAP. The product itself is good, though. If they had just thought to include a leak proof cap, it would have been a 5 from me.Images are of white sinker ink dripped onto dark purple alcohol ink - one drop of each.

I like that it is not a powerful or overtaking white in my projects. It gives the effect I like when using it and the more I use it the more I learn how to work it. I would recommend this product.

It doesn't work the same as my other white sinker does, so it took some playing around with to get used to how it disperses and sinks. Now it's kind of nice because I have two different sinkers that behave differently, so I can get different results depending on what I want! I did move it to a different container with a needle tip for better control with dropping the ink, as the original container drips out more than I wanted and doesn't give you good control, as it drips a little fast and wildly. I'm much happier with them in the smaller bottles, and the one nice thing about the tip on the bottle it comes in is that it does make it easier to fill the smaller needle tipped bottles. I'll have enough of this to last me a while too since I mostly make smaller pieces. Happy with this!

2 stars for the value only, but it's too watery and needs to be more white pigmented so it works better. Also, it drips out of the container when dropped into the resin. Finally, it doesn't make wantable effects. It's only 99% Alcohol with a white color.I will not buy it again

I am new to using alcohol inks with resin, but was very attracted to this due the price. This was comparatively a great deal for 2 bottles. I find this isn’t a strongly pigmented white, but this has made it easier for me to achieve decent results at the start of this product’s learning curve. But I do find the bottle tip a bit frustrating. It seems hard to anticipate what is going to come out and doesn’t have the fine, controlled drip I was expecting from videos I had watched for tutorial purposes. But I am learning to work with what this offers me. And I do really like the effects this gives and enjoy watching this as it patterns and spreads. This has provided me with such lovely dimensional effects in my resin pieces. Shown is a first use attempt and am not mad at the results :)

This white is very opaque with just a tiny bit added. IDo resin work outside and it is very cold right now, so it is a little bit hard to evaluate how well this ink can do sinking/petri pours (because the epoxy resin gets very thick when it is cold). However i did get some sinking even though the resin is cold, so i expect this ink will be much better at sinking in warmer weather (or inside if you have a studio).I also notice that adding this ink seems to help pop bubbles! The pictures i added show the amount of ink sinking when the resin is at 35-40F.

The result of this white sinker is subdued as you can see in the photos of earrings in the last 2 photos. That soft look isn’t exactly what I was looking for. I often enjoy a look of more contrast. So, what I’m thinking of doing is not shaking the 2 bottles. Then, I would simply pour out the top half of the liquid of each of the containers. Then I will be left with more white concentrated once I mix it.After that, I will put the contents of both containers into another container that doesn’t drip. No matter what I did, when I was shaking the bottle, it would start to leak. As you can see in the photos, it got all over me and other stuff too. And as you can see I lost a lot of product just using it one night on perhaps 5 pairs of earrings and one little container. Where you see a stronger white on the earrings in the background on the first photo is not this product. It is another sinker that I was using that night that is a whole lot whiter because this sinker here wasn’t performing the way I wanted. The last photo is of the other side of the earrings after taking them out. And I applied the sinker, not once but twice generously!
