They have metal spikes, which flatten your tire so if you forget that you have it on expect to be buying new tires

On the road and pulling an enclosed trailer carrying a Harley and other valuables can be risky in some circumstances. Of course, no security strategy is 100%, but a combination of means and devices can certainly slow down even the most determined lowlife. This particular wheel lock has its weaknesses, but overall it provides one more deterrent and level of protection. The primary vulnerability here is the key lock itself, which uses a fairly simple system and mechanism. One could opt to buy a wheel lock similar to those the police use, but considering the additional weight and cost of such a device it would be impractical for most situations.This wheel lock is simple to use and adequate for most conditions. It will fit most trailer and auto tires and requires little space to store when not in use. Moreover, at less than forty bucks, it seems this seller might have the lowest price on these wheel locks. I've noticed identical devices selling for more than double the price of this one.
