Works as advertised. I love it. No more guessing at toaster settings.

I bought this due to the multiple options between the types of breads, and the color codes. It is accurate and it even gives you some timing of how long it will take, which is nice. I would buy this again.

I have owned the Mega Casa toaster by Whall for almost a year now. Amazingly, it still looks brand new! It consistently toasts my bread and bagels perfectly, and is very easy to use and maintain. The slots are wide enough to toast thick Texas toast slices, bagels, or even hamburger buns without the bread getting stuck, and holds thinner slices upright and securely. I use the toaster almost daily and it continues to perform exactly as promised. I was a bit leery about purchasing a toaster from a manufacturer that I had never heard advertised, but it has out performed my old “name brand” toaster that cost me twice as much and which NEVER toasted my bread evenly. I should have thrown it out years ago, as it was always the source of frustration. The buttons on the Mega Casa toaster are clearly marked and all continue to function properly. The crumb trays collect crumbs effectively and are far enough from the heating elements to prevent them from continuing to toast and burn, which my old toaster did all the time. The crumb trays slide smoothly in and out and don’t require you pushing a cheap plastic clip to release them. My expensive old toaster had clips that broke after a few months and the trays were constantly falling out and spilling crumbs all over the counter. I have been very pleased with my purchase, and highly recommend the Mega Casa toaster by Whall. It also looks modern and attractive on the counter and has been a good investment!

This is a very good toaster. We will likely keep it and continue to use it until it dies. It meets all of our specifications, which follow:1) The toast slots are of a generous size, both width-wise and length-wise, and we have no problem fitting all of our various different wide breads and toaster pastries in a slot, without issue.2) It's attractive, easily cleaned and simple to use, yet has a couple of seemingly-useful additional features that we might one day use.3) The style and color matches our other appliances. In an ideal world, it would have one more setting in between 2 and 3, though we can accept that limitation, but a free-range toast-time selector that didn't limit you to selecting 1 of 6 whole numbers would have been a better choice. However, since many toasters have the same limitation, not worth a "ding", in my book.Update:The original quirk we detected hasn't happened again; I have to conclude it was a fluke, and I have revised my review to reflect 5 stars.

I bought this toaster because the better part of the reviews were 5 star and many said that it toasted just the way people liked it. Astatically, it looks wonderful. Nice design, fits well on counter and controls are easy to use. Wish I could say the same about it toasting just right though. I did bread first, put selector on 3, toast wasn't as dark as I liked it; figured the next time I did bread I'd just go up a notch. Next was English muffins; put selector on 4, most of the elements did not turn red and only the edges of the muffins got toasted. Had to put them through again on 2 and they still did not completely toast. Next time I did muffins again and put selector on 5; same results as first time toasting English muffins. I did bread again but put selector on 4 this time. Again, watching the elements, most turned red but there were quite a few that did not. For the most part, the toast was more to my liking but the entire slice did not toast; there was about 3/4 to 1 inch of the bottom of the slice that did not toast at all. It would be nice if the adjusting knob could be placed half way between each number instead of only being locked on just the numbers. I thought the more I paid for a toaster, the better the results but I guess not. I'll keep this one, put things through twice if necessary like I did the old toaster I don't think I'll ever find another toaster like the old Hamilton Beach 4 slice that if you put it on 3, your toast came out just the way I liked it and the whole slice toasted.
