Your cart is empty.WG15: the WG15 is an insulated band-style drum heater specifically designed to fit a 15 gallon drum. The heater is built for use with 120 Volts AC, drawing 1.5 Amps thus producing 180 Watts. It has a preset thermostat set to maintain a maximum temperature up to 145 F/63 C ( 10 F/5 C). one band on the drum will usually run cooler than 145 F because it only covers part of the Barrel. Placing a second WG15 further up the drum, above the first band, will generally decrease the time to heat and increase the maximum temperature your product reaches. Sometimes one is good enough, other times you might want to use two depending on your application. The WG15 insulated band style drum heaters allow you to safely control the temperature of expensive chemicals and other fluids; it delivers a barrier of directional heat where it's needed most – preventing fluids from freezing and maintaining optimal temperatures. This innovative heat-spreading technology insulates, protects and maintains heat in a wide variety of applications. Our warm guard line is designed for heating jobs on a smaller scale. These models feature a lower power density than Powerblanket industrial or Powerblanket Xtreme products. I have been having difficulty finding Cryo heater blankets for my 14" Cryo pumps. This heater is a nearly perfect fit for CTI Cryo-Torr 400, or Trillium Cryoplex 16 pumps. The temperature of 145 degrees is lower than a typical Cryo heater blanket, but is also less expensive, and still provides a relatively effective regeneration of our Cryo pumps. I would recommend this as a cost effective alternative to a Silicone Cryo heater blanket. I am also looking at the 30 gallon size for our CTI "20HP" pumps.

I ordered this for heating my 55 gallon drum, this was the best option as they had many in-stock and decent reviews. Turns out it does not fit for many others.

This item worked wonderful for about a month. After that it stopped working. For the month it did work it was very helpful. Will be looking to buy something different in the future

this blanket is an effective way to keep the contents of a drum or barrel liquid. It is simple to use and has buckles and straps to insure positioning. Plug in and it heats quickly. the thermostat is preset and there is no way to adjust it. there is no power button. To turn off you must unplug. It is durable and seems to heat evenly and consistently. so far it has worked reliably and I am satisfied with its performance. i do wish it had a power button/indicator and adjustable thermostat. But it works well without them. It comes with some stapled pages with warnings and instructions. They include photos. Instructions are in three different languages: english, French and Spanish.

I have both the 5 gallon and the 15 gallon heated blanket wrap. There are some variations in the heating and consistency in the heating along the pad. It warms up quick and took the readings about 15 minutes after plugging in unit. Measurement to touch on the outer facing side is around 90 degrees +/- 2 degrees. On the inner side that would be touching the bucket, the readings ranged from 125 degrees (furthest from the power source) to 145-148 degrees (in the middle and closest to the power source).There is no on/off switch, it’s just plug in to electrical outlet for on. No thermostat, that’s sold separately. Decent size cord length at 5 feet.
