The WF-9855-AD Deck Mount Converter Charger has been optimized for charging based on the chemical composition of the battery in the device. For lead-acid batteries, the automatic three-stage converter can handle every charging demand of the RV while extending the battery life. For lithium-ion batteries, the multi-stage process ensures the safe working voltage of all loads, replaces the energy in the battery, and ensures that the lithium-ion batteries inside the battery remain balanced.

Was easy to install. Similar to my old one. Took maybe 15 minutes. Is working great so far! Just like it should.

I acquired a 20' covered trailer last year and recently installed a couple of windows and lighting into it. I decided that it could double as a temporary semi water-less RV with a few fold-up beds and small room in the V front for changing and bathroom use. To do that I needed a small water tank, 12V pump and a bit of plumbing work. I soon realized that I needed a way to run some 120vac shore power to the trailer to charge the batteries and also run the pump and lights. So when this WF-9855 55 Amp RV Power Converter for Lithium Batteries came available, I knew exactly what I was going to test it out on. Luckily my real RV has the exact same thing on board, so I was able to easily install this unit and wire it up. Running the wires was easy, hiding all the wires was a chore. When I plugged it in, the lithium battery was about half discharged, so I was able to test it out right away. After about 10 minutes, the fan came on to cool the internals down, this alerted me to check it. This fan was louder than the one in my RV, or maybe it was louder because of there being no carpet around to absorb the sound, not sure. The fan soon went off and I checked the voltages because I have a lithium battery, I had to make sure this unit could correctly charge it, and it seemed that it did auto-detect the lithium. Overall, this unit is a little more than what I needed for a power supply, but I can add 12v accessories if and when needed now. I wanted to add that this units packaging and labels highly mimic the WFCO brand, which is what is inside my RV, but this unit does not say WFCO anywhere. Lastly, the outside of the box says to visit WF-9800.com for helpful information, but that link does not work.

So far this converter is better than the original that came with my camper. It was the same size, came with the needed allen wrench and installed easily. The original one was noisy and cycled a lot but this one the fan only comes on during a heavy 12 volt draw.which is not very often.

Bought in December 2023, didn’t install for a few months, never worked. Contacted seller, they sent a replacement. Haven’t tested it yet. It is not the Waco brand, but looks like it

I bought this inverter in march.Installed it in place of the old one in my camper. Worked for two days and burned out.Will not work when I plugged it in any outlet.Fuses are good.I would not buy this

The converter arrived quickly and was a direct replacement of the failed unit in our Airstream. The quick delivery allowed us to go on a trip as planned. Hopefully, it will last longer than the first one. We are now carrying a spare…

I ordered this AD version to upgrade my class a RV so that it will charge LiFePo batteries. It was a direct replacement so installation was straight forward. Just make sure you tighten the lugs properly so there is no chance of arcing caused by loose wires.
