All the holes weren’t perfect, but the board was the perfect size. Camper converts 120-volts to 12VDC now and charges the battery when plugged in without issue. Was happy to find it. 4 stars in case someone is expecting every hole to line up.

Bought this #8955-AD-MDA inverter unit because I changed out my four 6 volt acid batteries on RV trailer to two 100AH lithium batteries.

Converter got here very quick. Installed same day. Being new to fixing these kinds of items, it went pretty smooth. Had power to my camper within an hour.

Bought to replace 2007 exile 45 in a StarCraft Rv. Space was very limited and knew anything would have to be modified to fit in shallow space available. Plastic tray that converter is mounted to was able to be be cut to fit and remounted to fit space. 5 inches deep Easy to wire back into system. Fan is mounted on side which was a bit of a worry for cooling air flow and time will tell if it gets too hot. Had to reorder as supplier packaging was insufficient and first delivery was trashed. Amazon returns executed flawlessly.

Reasons my experience was great:1) Price was unmatched at the time, lower by a long way (Cdn$155 all in, including taxes, duty, shipping).2) Packed well. Outside box was damaged, so I was worried, but needlessly. Inside was a thickly-padded envelope and enough space to move around. Inside envelope was another box, containing the converter inside a Ziploc plastic bag. Converter was completely protected (although the sharp edge of the heat sink's protector plate had cut through the bag).3) Converter is an exact replacement to my original. I have a 2015 Rockwood Windjammer with a WF-8955PEC Power Centre. When I saw the wires on the new converter, I thought the 12 volt pair was too short and the "red" wire was a funny pink colour, again concerned needlessly. Pulling the dead unit out of the enclosure I found the red wire on it is also a funny pink colour, not red at all. Plus, all wires are exactly the correct length. So, whoever built this replacement unit knows what they're doing.4) The plastic mounting plate is exactly the right size to slide into the mounting rails, the holes for the two retaining screws are located exactly right and all wires are correctly colour-coded. No need for any modifications or compensations on my part, unlike the stories I've read from customers buying other replacement units. If you check reviews of other non-WFCO-branded converters sold on Amazon, you'll see stories of wires incorrectly colour-coded, wrong-sized mounting plates and holes not lining up properly. There was none of that here. Only thing I had to mod was to strip a little more shielding off the black 110 volt wire, just because I felt the amount the factory had left exposed (~1/8 inch) would not have given clean metal contact across the screw terminal.5) Each wire came capped with a rectangular silver connector. The caps on the 12 volt wires were substantial items, almost 1/2 inch long. No need to get out the soldering gun to cover the wire ends to ensure a good connection. These silver connectors are great.6) The enclosed installation instructions were brief, succinct and exactly right for my enclosure. Putting this converter into service was a piece of cake. Hardest thing I had to deal with was getting the plastic spring tab securing the 12 volt wiring termination card to spring back up once I had everything wired up and tried to push the card back in. It is a VERY tight fit. From reading other reviews I learned others have broken their cards or the spring tab doing this, so I was trying to avoid forcing it. Embedding the card correctly under the two tabs at the top is crucial, and even that didn't convince the spring tab to spring up easily. Had to push pretty hard on the bottom of the card while pushing up on the spring tab from below before it finally snapped into place. Now that the new converter is installed, all my 12 volt devices are up and running and my pair of 6v lead acid batteries are charging up nicely. Have only heard the converter's fan start once, when I was operating the slide. But I am in Canada in February, not much likelihood the converter is getting warm. At time of writing I noticed this item is listed as Currently Unavailable. However, if you search the reseller (Yuankai), this converter shows up in their list at the same price and spec's as this one I'm reviewing. I just installed my unit yesterday, so can't be sure it will stand the test of time, but for now my experience has been great. I highly recommend buying this item if you have the same WFCO power centre as me. I'm taking the time to write this review because I was initially hesitant to take this good deal given there aren't any other reviews. But I'm glad I took a chance. Amazon standing behind them with a 30 day return was the reason I felt okay giving Yuankai a shot. Hopefully, this review helps both them and you.

I wanted to replace my lead acid batteries with new lithium batteries, but my WFCO made power center converter, model WF-8955pec, was not able to charge lithium batteries properly to the extent of being 100% charged. I emailed WFCO and the replied with the replacement model, WF-8955-AD-MBA, that was built to charge lead acid, AGM and lithium batteries without problems.Long story short, I purchased the new model, opened my power center and removed the older version, and replaced it with the newer version. One wire was almost too short to reach the busbar, but I eventually got all wires to connect and slid the assembly back into the power center.I connected my new Eco-Worthy 280AH lifepo4 lithium battery and turned on all lights & fans so that the new battery would be depleted to about 15% left. That is necessary so the "auto detect" feature of the new charger can determine that the battery is a lithium battery, as stated by the WFCO manufacturer. The new WF-8955-AD-MBA charger/converter charged the new lithium battery all the way to 13.50v, which is slightly above the 100% charge (per eco-worthy doc that came with new battery). I recommend this replacement board/power center modification if you are going to change over to lithium batteries.
