Works well if there are flats on the scope and receiver. Would have rated it a 5 if there were instructions.

It took about 2 minutes to level my Bushnell Elite 4500 in Warne Skyline 20MOA mount on my Creedmoor. I am a distance (500 yds.+) shooter. It does not come with instructions. There are three pieces, all made of quality black finished aluminum. The first piece is rectangular in shape, with an angled groove on the top side and a lip on the bottom side. The second piece is in the shape of a right (90 degree angle) triangle. The third piece is a "right quadrangle" in shape, essentially a right triangle with the point of the triangle cut off to form its fourth side.To use it -- put your scope in its mount and tighten the screws just shy of being snug. You should be able to just barely rotate the scope. Then, place the first piece -- the rectangular groved/lipped one -- between the rifle receiver and the flat bottom (where the scope adjusting knobs are located) of the scope, lip side down, with the lip butting up against the receiver. Then, take the second piece -- the right triangle -- and place it in the groove on the first piece, narrow end towards the rifle with the right angle at the top, and the hypotenuse (longest side of right triangle) facing down in the groove.Wiggle the second piece until it is solidly between the scope and the rifle. Then tighten evenly (much like you would tighten lug nuts on a car wheel) the scope mounting screws with a torque screwdriver set for the torque value specified by the mount manufacturer; my Warne Skyline mount says to tighten it to 16 inch-pounds of torque.There. You are done; your scope is level. Wow. This is easier than using the bubble level I bought with the mount. There are videos on YouTube that show you how to do this. This is an excellent product.

This device really worked well. I set my scope up with levels. I checked the cant using this device and it was right on. This is well worth having because it is more accurate than a level. It makes the scope parallel with the picatinny rail. Such a good idea because it takes the guess work out of the set up.

Used to mount rifle scopes as level as possible, it works since I have already mounted two sopes with it.
