The ball arrives deflated. So if you order, make sure you have a pump available. The ball itself is low quality. Only had it a few day and already having pieces coming off of it. It also does not stay on the rope. No matter how much tightening you do, it flies off with an aggressive hit. I do not recommend.

I’m 72. I use it to spot where I need to stop my vehicle when I’m backing into my carport my old one wore out disintegrated after many years so I bought this bright green. It’s very easy to see, and I can back in perfectly not exactly the use. It was made for, but it works perfect for me.

This is our 3rd ball, they get eaten up by the hot weather and sun in Las Vegas. This is like all the others as far as quality. It did lose a star because this one doesn’t come with a hook to latch to the tether all pole, so I used the one from our old one.

I put up a tetherball set in my backyard for both dogs and people to play. My Boxer was able to puncture the ball, yet it still retains volume and we still play!I highly recommend this ball. It is a solid option for people and dogs alike!

I'm a grown adult and wanted to get back into the tetherball game. My husband built me a tetherball pole/base as the reviews on standard ones just didn't cut it. However, the base is not a concern in this review.We've only played with the tetherball a total of 3 times. First time was fine (it was also the very first time my husband had actually played thetherball). But the second time when I played with a friend, the rope from the pole to the ball tore right at the base of the ball. I thought "no big deal I'll just tie it back on"False. I tied it back on and within 30 minutes, it tore off again. I added on several knots and even went to YouTube to look up sturdy knots but that's not the issue. The string for this ball is VERY flimsy and weak.On the third go around, the ball came flying off mid-serve and could have injured someone. Ball itself seems to be fine and sturdy. The rope itself, again, is just crappy overall. It keeps breaking and it's not easy to "re-string", if you will.Overall, the ball is great and seems to be sturdy. However, if you're a grown adult looking into smacking the heck out of a tetherball, definitely be prepared to get a new, sturdier rope because the one that comes with it just doesn't cut it.

Unlike the tetherballs of my childhood which seemed to nearly break my wrists, this ball has been great to use and has held up very well. It is very sturdy. The surface is smooth which is nicer to hit than something that is textured, and the color (I bought Classic Yellow) is quite aesthetically pleasing. I inflated the ball up to about 7 lbs (as directed) and it works pretty well.Another nice feature is that the lug that secures the string seems to have a slightly larger opening than the ball that I used to have. This makes it easier to change the rope if it does break. It does help to use something pointy like a chopstick or a screwdriver to push the rope through.Note, this does not come with a carabiner; however I once bought a ball from a different manufacturer on the premise that it came with a carabiner but I was surprised to find that the carabiner was quite cheap. The last thing I wanted was for that to break and the ball to go flying into my neighbor's yard. They are already annoyed enough at me.I am looking forward to introducing this game to my co-workers and friends and obliterating them at this quite simple yet competitive game.
