I needed a small scissors to cut threads, and thin paper. I also have arthritis in my hands, so I wanted a lightweightscissors. This one is perfect and I use it all the time. Would buy again. Great price, durable, light weight. Perfect for my needs.

I use these scissors for many things, sewing, hair bangs, clothing tags, etc. They are a good smaller pair of scissors and are sharp and cut well. They are good for light fabric and sewing jobs, but I need a stronger pair for thicker fabrics. Good product for the price and recommend at this price point.

I bought these 5 years ago and have used them pretty much every day since, and finally decided to write a review.I use them for a variety of tasks - journaling and paper crafting, cutting threads while sewing, cutting open packages, and I take them when I travel. They fit in my small pencil case and are allowed on airplanes. I just used them to cut up a few thick stacks of facial skincare pads and these cut through them like butter. To this day they are INSANELY sharp - I have cut myself with them multiple times over the years, but that’s a risk I’m willing to take for the perfect pair of tiny sharp scissors. I’ve used them so much that the grips are wearing down, and am expecting that part of the unit to give way before the blades. Once that happens, I will be repurchasing, even though they’ve almost doubled in price since I ordered my first pair in January of 2020. They are worth it!

These are the best. They are comfortable and hardy and boy are they sharp. My only critique is that the screw that holds them together will rust quickly so they must be taken apart and thoroughly dried before putting back together. I usually take a little vinegar to the screw area if it rusts at all and that fixes it.

I really like these little scissors they do the job I needed something that was quick, strong, sturdy, and sharp for my little crafts that I do around the house. They have worked out well and I would highly recommend them.

I have these scissors in the kitchen. I like this brand more than other brands the same size because of the sharp bevelled blade ends on the tip. They are great for poking open packages, cutting through frozen food bags, and lifting up cardboard glued flaps, such as on cracker boxes.I use them for easily cutting up small foods such as sundried tomatoes, and dried fruit for baking. They do not rust when washed in the dishwasher.

We keep a pair of scissors in our kitchen drawer to use for a variety of purposes. The pair we’d had before had never been particularly good, and after a few years’ use the bolt that connected the two blades came undone. I knew I didn’t want to just pick up any cheap scissors I could find, since I’d never been happy with how the old pair worked.I’m a crafter so I have a few scissors that are dedicated to specific purposes. Among them is a pair of Westcott scissors I use for cutting heavier papers. I’d been impressed with their effectiveness so I decided to buy this two-pack for household use; they look different from my dedicated paper scissors so I won’t mix them up, and I was confident they would work well. We’ve had them for a while now and it’s working out great. They make it easy to break down cardboard boxes for recycling (and to open packages when they arrive): they’re nice and sharp, so I don’t have to apply a lot of pressure to cut through the shipping tape. The handles are comfortable to hold. The inside orange parts are rubbery for a good grip (there’s also a rubbery bit on the side for the index finger to get a good grip if you need it), and the outside gray parts are a harder textured plastic. The join between the blades says it is adjustable, though I haven’t had a reason to try to adjust it so far.I love that they can be used in either the right or the left hand because I’m left-handed while my husband is right-handed, so we don’t have to worry about keeping different kinds of scissors around. The texture on the blades is unusual for me, since normally they’re just smooth and shiny. I assume this is to give it the promised nonstick feature. It’s never been a big pain point for me to have things get stuck to the scissors, though I suppose occasionally it is annoying when tape from a package gets stuck to the blades. I haven’t had issues with that while using these scissors so at this point the nonstick claims hold true for me.Really happy with these so far and I’m sure I’ll look to Westcott for future needs.
