This product is an outstanding value for the price.Westcott is a company with a long track record of quality, and this flexible clear ruler is no exception.This ruler features inches on one side, centimeters and millimeters on the other.It is absolutely crystal clear which makes it easy to see your work underneath.I recently used this very ruler to measure the pupillary distance between my eyes. The clear design enabled a more precise measurement than my opaque ruler. Outstanding!I also used this ruler to create a vanishing point perspective drawing for an architectural project; the clear plastic design made it much easier to see the drawing beneath.The ruler is thin but strong and flexible for easy storage in my backpack.I highly recommend this Westcott clear plastic flexible ruler. It's an outstanding product and easily earns it's five star rating.

As stated, the ruler is clear and measures 12 inches. Unlike other reviews, my ruler did not come with a barcode sticker, so I didn't have to deal with any sticky residue. It's nice that they paid attention to the reviews and fixed that. However, the ruler did come with a few scratches, but I think with its clear design, it's inevitable. The scratches do not affect with how durable the ruler is. There are rounded edges, but those didn't bother me since I'm only using it to draw lines, so for me personally, it's a good ruler and worth the price!.

This ruler is clear, made of plastic and has a standard-sized paper hole on one side (great for hanging as not to damage it in the messy drawer!). It passed the durability test as I bent it, twisted it and slammed it on a number of surfaces making is truly "non-shatter" ruler. It is very smooth with a central groove along the top making it easy to maneuver and hold in place with one hand. It is also the perfect width & thickness for me which makes it easy to work with while measuring, drawing straight lines and cutting straight edges. It is extremely transparent without distorting or magnifying the picture underneath and the surface has great integrity as it does not appear to scratch easily nor do the lines rub off causing unclear measurements. The inch and centimeter measurement lines are perfectly accurate as compared to my German electronic metric calibration ruler. A solid, reliable choice for an everyday ruler. I highly recommend this ruler.
