Woo! I needed a new paper trimmer and am excited that I made a great choice! This trimmer is smaller than my other one and I was a bit leary about that wondering how the paper was going to fit. I have no idea why I thought that, but I did. It fits up to paper size 12". The blade is spring loaded, which means it doesn't cut unless you are pressing the blade housing down (applying pressure) while sliding it across the paper where you want to make a perfect slice. And boy, do I love that feature! Do you know how many times, with my other trimmer, I accidently moved that blade when I wasn't ready to? Me neither, as I lost count I did it so many times! So you hold the ruler down to keep paper in place and it will cut right there on the easy to see and line up groove. Press down on the housing blade and slide through your paper. That's it! Easy Peasy! And the best part!... This item comes with an extra blade, housing already attached! The extra blade is on the trimmer itself, but is easy to remove and put away somewhere where you won't forget you put it.....

Bought this to cut some of that rubbery backsplash for a rental kitchen. It's super sharp abs slices right through it. Just make sure you hold what your cutting in place well.
