I ordered a clear ruler and that’s what I got. The numbers are dark and easy to see. My one complaint is that this was delivered in a huge box.

I wanted a ruler that I could use for my drawings. When working on grids or three-dimensional drawings, I needed a ruler that allowed me to see previous lines drawn without lifting the ruler. It's perfect.

I needed a new ruler, a transparent, cheap ruler for projects. I used this ruler for accurate measuring, straight lines for previous art projects and graphing for economics. It's a regular ruler but I like that it is bendable, clear, and cheap. This ruler is pretty large so it won't fit in a small school desk container, it'll fit in a drawer and standard or large backpack though.

This is a sturdy ruler it's very thick and sturdy the only issue I had that like an 1" was broken when I received it but I don't mind (it was the 18" so it wasn't a huge issue)

I needed an 18" straight edge for sewing. I didn't need a long 36" yard stick or something that was bulky as I have a limited space to store my sewing notions! This is thin and flexible! It is easy to read for those times I will need to measure fabric. It will assist in straightening fabric edges and marking a line to cut straight. I am so happy I got this and for a great price, too!

Not sure who thought it would be a good idea to put a sticky label on the ruler itself but alas someone did think it would be a good idea.Anyway after spending about 20 minutes trying to scrub off the adhesive (without removing the markings) I'm left with a sticky ruler that is not see through but very cloudy at one end.This is my first negative review on Amazon but this was just completely stupid for someone to put a huge sticker on a see through ruler.I won bother trying to send back but this is going straight in the bin

The ruler is exactly as expected. The 18 inch ruler arrived in a box over twice its length! Unfortunately the ruler had a bar code sticker an the underside. It is impossible to remove the sticky of the label without removing the markings on the ruler itself. A real pain

Nice clear ruler, although not as rigid as you'd expect a sturdy one to be. Following the very handy warnings on other reviews I carefully peeled off the underneath sticky label with my thumbnail, and my husband removed the residue with white spirit, so my markings weren't scrubbed off. Surprised the suppliers haven't switched to putting the label on the blank side after the complaints, which is why it is only 4 stars.

Crystal clear, with crisp, well-defined scales - Metric (cm and mm) one side, Imperial (inches, halves, quarters, eighths, sixteenths) the other. Pleasingly pliable, too - can measure and/or draw lines over the hummocks and hollows of paperwork on my untidy desk. And 18" is so much more useful than 12" - just try drawing a diagonal line across an A4 (or bigger) sheet of paper.
