This Westbrass angle stop kit with round handles is the perfect compliment for water closets. It uses a 1/2 in. IPS threaded Inlet with a 3/8 in. OD Compression outlet with nut and ferrule. The kit features a 20 in. Flat Head rigid riser for toilet tanks. The valve uses traditional compression closures for positive seal. Westbrass was founded in 1935 by two brothers, Jack and Aaron Kagan, to serve the needs of all plumbing wholesalers on the West Coast. The product lines at the time included items such as faucets, valves, malleable fittings, etc. After becoming the premier distributor of plumbing products, the company was bought in 1985 by Max Homami. I’m a professional plumber. Ordered parts on Amazon and not through my supplier because of the specific color.The only thing usable is the valve/escutcheon.The supply tube’s paint cracked and flaked off as soon as I started bending the pipe.The nipple is so thin that it’s at least three times lighter/thinner when compared to a genuine brass nipple.Do NOT purchase this product as the material will not last long term whatsoever.

First time ordering, the wrong kit was delivered. The replacement was then missing the flange. Then after installing, no matter how much or little plumbers tape is used it just keeps leaking from. Ive tightened it down as tight as it can go and it still leaks. I think it may have to do with the black paint or anodizing on the threads. It wears unevenly as its tightened down and the plumbers tape, two different brands I have can not stop the water from coming through. I've never had problems with west brass products before using the matte black items. Save yourself the headache. I will try the compression style next and see if its any better.

While all the pieces and parts worked fine and looked good, the package did not come with nuts to attach the water pipe to the faucet. Now we’re on the hunt for a black nut to match, because using a silver nut would cause the earth to turn the wrong way.
