Sturdy, does the trick!! I bought for a beach trip with our 2 medium/large dogs, hoping maybe if they were tired enough we could enjoy some hands free time, I had low expectations because I didn’t know if it would work well in sand, plus our bigger dog is super strong. My husband screwed this into wet sand easily, and it never moved. Even with both dogs pulling it in the same direction. Absolutely recommend, pleasantly surprised. My only suggestion is to add or use a strong caribeaner clip to connect the leash to, we made it work without it, but it would have made it easier.

This stake is incredibly durable, built to withstand the elements while providing a secure anchoring point for my furry friend. Installation was easy enough you just twist it into the ground with minimal effort, it held securely in place right away.What I appreciate most is that after several weeks of use, it hasn't shown any signs of rust or wear, despite being exposed to the elements this speaks to its quality and construction.The design is practical, allowing my dog to move around comfortably while still being safely secured. We attach his leash to the stake which is convenient. My dog weighs approximately 50 pounds, and I am pleased to report that the stake has remained firmly in place despite his presence. Given my dog's temperament, he hasn't attempted to break free or put a lot of resistances on the stake but I’m sure it would withstand due to its thickness, size, and weight. Overall, this dog metal ground stake is a fantastic product that combines durability, ease of installation, and long-lasting performance. Highly recommended for any pet owner looking for a peace of mind.

I'm sure this works well but it all depends on the ground you're trying this on. If you have semi firm dirt, you can forget about it because it's not going in.If you have loose dirt or sand, it works amazingly
