It works, it keeps my fence climbing Yorkie chained up until I untie him, idk if it’ll hold up for a big dog but it does for a 10 pound dog. I would say for a 25 yes, 50 pound questionable. I guess it depends on if your dog pulls a lot & if so it may need a thicker chain.

Our dog is 10 but still acts like a puppy. He’s part of the family and our kids really wanted a way for him to hangout in the front yard with us. This has been perfect. He no longer stays inside while we have fun in the front. He’s also secure and we don’t have to worry about him running off or into the street. Great product for us.

I have this product for almost a year now, and it hasn't disappointed. It is easy to install and holds well (my dog is small and not too strong though so I can't say how it would hold for a heavy weight and energetic large dog).It does look like it could hold though. I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Use this on camping trips often and I love it! When my Doberman was younger, she would try to take off after squirrels and such and this product kept her in place. Very sturdy and it is still in great condition.

Very sturdy corkscrew to put into yard, will hold the strongest of dogs!! Long run for dog, they aren't confined to 3 feet.. it's pretty long my dog is 4 pounds it's kinda heavy duty for her but I love it

Using only the cord with a different (flush to the ground stakeout). I do really like the cord that came with this one though, so far is very durable and the length is perfect. The stake out (I thought was to be reflective)? Nothing reflective about it…
