Seems well built. Bench tested good. Installed with supplied O-ring and only tightened so not to smash it.No lights... Tightened more than enough to squish O-ring, still no lights... Removed O-ring and tightened, YEAH! Lights working as they should. Nissan original switch (located on trany passenger side with red & white wires) had no O-ring and was not leaking. Hoping this switch lasts and won't leak either.TIP: I've read on forums not to start engine with trany in reverse as it could fry the switch. My back-up lights had not worked since I purchased truck, used. Finally got around to troubleshoot/fix. Tested circuit with a paper clip jumper in plug to verify and lights worked with key on and in reverse. Hope this helps guys.

Package was damaged a little bit during shipping but product still works just fine so happy to have come across this because no parts store could get this and in Virginia you need reverse lights to pass an inspection great quality product of hard to find part

Slightly shorter than the oem switch. Had to grind a little material from the transmission to get the switch to close when put in reverse.

So I replaced the switch and nothing worked. After testing, I realized the switch does work but only when depressed far enough which was not happening. So I pulled the plunger out of the new switch unit and added a very short metal sleeve under the thicker part and reattached to unit. This pushed the plunger out a little bit further allowing my reverse lights to work. Good luck...
