Arrived expired. Ordered in Sept 2024, it expired July 2024.Also-I've bought the dog version of these exact packets before and was not pleased to find that the cat version is way smaller! Packets are TEENY for $16-17 and it's a total pain to try to scrape the morsels out of the crevices of the packet.

I have finicky eaters when it comes to flavors and textures and this helps when they are being stubborn eaters. The label calls it a "protein booster" and says it supports daily hydration too but, it is strictly intended for 'intermittent or supplemental feeding only." In other words, it does not contain 100% nutrition requirement for cats and it should be used along with a complete and well-balanced cat food diet (be it dry or canned).I also like that it is grain-free and doesn't contain soy, corn, wheat, meat-by-products, or artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. The only downsides are that it doesn't 100% meet a cat's daily nutritional needs, and the packets are not recyclable and make it a bit difficult to serve up even portions to multiple cats. I think that most cats will love it and owners need to take care that your cat is eating its regular diet and not getting spoiled on this 'booster.' Also, It is 'shredded', not pate, in broth so If your cat has difficulty chewing or swallowing 'shreds' of meat then I would not recommend this variety.I give this Wellness product 4 stars.

If you have unlimited resources, than buy this product. My kitty loves it. I however do not have unlimited resources, so I will not buy this very small pouch of water and very little meat. It’s not worth the money. Buy a can of tuna or chicken, at least there is something in these. You have to use a fork to scrape what little meat is in the bottom of these little pouches.

My 10 years old cat is very picky when it comes to food. Recently he was very sick and losing weight. We tried a number of different wet foods and this one was an instant winner.

We have 3 cats, and they are all very used to having wet food as a dinner tradition. We learned early on that one of the cats had an allergy to chicken, so we had to find alternatives. Now it's hard enough to find something that a cat will eat in general, let alone consistently, but add in that it can't have any chicken in it, and this became a quest of almost legendary scope. Something the bards would talk about for generations to come. After countless attempts to satiate the fur babies including upturned noses, cries of anguish, and repeated trips to the shelter to donate all the food they refused to eat, we finally found this gem of a product. Now a word (or two) of caution: The contents are packed into each pouch pretty tightly, and about a third of it is liquid, so if you try to rip it open using the score marks they include, you will likely have the juices splash out and coat anything it touches in a not-so-delightful fishy smell. We tend to use scissors and cut the top as close to the scores as possible, and this helps eliminate 99% of all juice-related incidents. Also, some of the pieces of solid fish can be big, and if your cats are smaller, they might do like ours and pull them out of the bowl to rip up, casting pieces of fishy flesh all over the floor/counter, so you may want to use a fork to chop some of them up a bit before serving. We love the fact that the ingredient list is only 4 deep, and all of them are natural: Tuna, Water, Fish Broth and Shrimp. The 4-legged children love the taste and texture (especially the whole mini shrimps that can be found in each packet.) Every night they cheer us on as we fill their bowls and purr loudly while devouring their feast. No more allergic reactions and no more noses turned up in protest. This quest definitely has a happy ending!
