I use this for a cat. Batt was left behind during his owners move, so I use it to feed him, but I do have a time. Trying to get the top off.

Our 17 year old cat loves it. So if he's happy we're happy.

It’s cat food

My picky adopted cat wasn’t eating the chicken kibble that her foster mom was feeding her, so I tried Sheba tuna at a friend’s recommendation. Wow, what a difference! She scarfed it right up, maybe because it has a fairly strong tuna smell. These tiny one-serving portions bother me a bit because it’s such a waste of plastic (yes, I recycle the container). What happened to the bigger cat food cans that you used to be able to buy years ago? They were good for at least 2 meals when refrigerated— much less wasteful packaging!

The sustainable tuna is my cat’s favorite flavor. The serving size is just the right amount for him. I was previously purchasing other brands of wet cat food that ounce for ounce were cheaper. However, about half or more of the can would go to waste anyways as he wouldn’t eat a full can. Even though I would try to refrigerate the rest, my cat is a picky eater and will not eat cold leftovers. I would never remember to take it out of the fridge early enough to let it come to room temperature. So I switched over to Sheba and he loves it. Although it is more expensive per ounce, it is less expensive per meal since there is no waste.Although he likes most of the Sheba flavors, the tuna is his favorite so I purchased it by the case. The morsels are just the right texture for him.The only thing I don’t like is that sometimes the packages can be a little hard to open. You have to use some force and as I am starting to develop a little arthritis, it is sometimes a bit difficult for me to open them.

This is one of my favorite cat foods to buy because both of my cats who are very different love it. It is expensive so I can’t get it all the time but I think it makes up for it in food not wasted. 5 stars.

Full disclosure: The 5 star rating for flavor is based on how quickly my cat devours his meal. I have not ... nor will I ... tasted this product myself. I have a cat with a delicate stomach and when he's on a diet that consists entirely of dry food, he will stop eating and sulk. Hence the need for a meal of wet food at least once a day. These meals are the perfect size for my 13 pound cat. They were just as good when he ballooned to 17 pounds while his house mate, a 5 pound cat in the last year of her life, required more frequent feeding. And who can feed one cat but not the other? Not me. I don't like sleeping with one eye open all night. But back to the pertinent facts. My cat, Puff, prefers the chicken and salmon flavors. No idea why he doesn't like the turkey as well because ... birds. One suggestion when serving these meals to your feline friends: rinse the container before you put it in the trash or recycling bin. The odor will build over time and ... yeah, yuck. But the food itself is a hit at our house so I highly recommend these meals.

Sheba cat food has been a lifesaver literally for my 9 1/2 year old cat that has a very sensitive stomach and can’t hold down a lot of the more expensive foods and regular foods out on the market, I’ve taken her into the veterinarian we’ve tried different things it’s cost quite a lot of money and trying to find out what was going on and it’s just got to the point where she just has a sensitive stomach and can’t handle a lot of these fillers that they put in most of cat food that you see on the shelves at your local supermarket, there’s a lot of corn starch that can effect the Digestion that your cat has to go through, but just a recommendation if you do find that your cat likes Sheba cat food and likes a certain flavor you can buy by the case through Amazon normally at a discount also for $20 a month I will get a case of Sheba cat food and I also mix it up With other Shiba flavors, now this does last more than a month, so I have it automatically shipped about every month and a half, and still have extra, but it’s nice to know that I have it on the shelf all the time. she’s more prone to go to the chicken Alfredo and also she loves the tuna, add then I’ll surprise her with some roasted chicken from Sheba but needless to say the Sheba cat food is sensitive enough for her stomach and she’s able to keep it down and it’s made her more healthy more energetics at her 9 1/2 year age and she’s running marathons in the middle of the night, surprises me so much that a change in finding the right food made such a big difference! If you feel like giving Sheba a try you won’t be going wrong, they come in different sizes so you don’t have to buy a case like I do but you can just buy a small package to sample some of different flavors to see what your cat likes, and if your cat prefers it and if you have a cat that may be a picky eater or have a sensitive stomach, this might be also another option for you to try and see if it what your cat needs and may be within itself very helpful in showing you some options..I could keep going on about how pleased I am with Sheba cat food, but it’s not necessary let your cat tell you what he was she likes and if you find that it works well for you there you have your answer your cat will let you know! So if you have a picky eater or a cat that is sensitive to the foods that he or she eats give Sheba a try.Thank you for reading my review and the best all and to all the cat and dog owners out there as we do have our best friends, and they are mostly right beside us most of the time trying to wake us up to play. Have a wonderful day and thank you so much for reading my review!
