Unlike most products I've purchase, this product EXCEEDED my expectations.There isn't anything magical about this product. It simply works. You'll need to scrub some. Then use the razor scrapper. My black cooktop is 12 years old. We have taken fairly good care of it over the years. WE HAVE NOT CONTINUED TO USE BURNERS AFTER SOMETHING HAS BOILED OVER. I was a little concerned the red scrub pads may scratch the surface of the cooktop. My cooktop needed 3 cleanings to return to like new condition. NO SCRATCHES. Now my cooktop really does look like new. I will purchase this product again in the future.I didn't notice any unusual smells coming from this cleaner. This residue was very easy to remove. Simply use several dry paper towels to remove the majority of residue. Then use a little Windex to achieve the final like new finish. Hope this review was helpful.

I wish I had taken before and after photos to show what a great job this did in breathing new life to our stovetop. We had really let it get away from us to the point where I was considering just buying a whole new stove even though this one is only a few years old.We had tried other polishes and cleaners before but the deeply burned in and ingrained stuff just seemed to be a permanent addition to the stove top. Before buying a new stove, I decided to give one last effort to salvage this one.While it isn't perfectly restored, it is 100% better and not the eyesore in the kitchen that it used to be. I had never tried the razor blade approach for fear of just adding scratches to an already unsightly stovetop. No concerns there, after letting the build up soak for a couple of hours with the cleaner, the razor blade and handle did a great job of scraping up the burned in grime without damaging the top.There is still a bit of cloudiness to one burner - not the build up I was speaking of earlier, just a general discoloration - but this is incredibly minor considering what it looked like before.Highly recommended, this can help restore your stovetop no matter what the condition.

If you have a glass top stove, this kit is a must have. I’ve used them in the past with great results keeps the glass tops looking nice and shiny clean.

The cleaner itself is fantastic—it’s easy to apply and does a great job of removing tough stains without any scrubbing frustration. The 10oz bottle lasts a while, and a little bit goes a long way. The included scrubbing pad works perfectly with the cleaner to lift dirt and grime without scratching the surface. I was also really impressed with the razor scraper— it made removing stubborn bits of food so easy and efficient.

I love this product! It's my 1st time using it and I'm amazed how great it works. I used it on my GE range stove top, and it was easy to use and it cleaned my stove top efficiently and it now looks as good as new. I highly recommend this product as it is a miracle product. If you need something to clean the build up on your stove that other cleaning products just don’t take off, this is the product you NEED. It’s very clear which photo is the before and which is the after. I’m positive the next time I go in with this cleaner it will remove even more. It did take a bit of elbow grease, but it was worth it. The instructions are clear. Will undoubtedly be repurchasing!

The product works well, outperforming most others. It effectively removes grease and grime without leaving residue, though scrubbing requires some effort to tackle tough stains. Letting it sit for a while before scrubbing helps, but it still takes time to remove everything. On the plus side, it doesn’t scratch glass stovetops.

This product is fantastic at removing burnt-on foods from a glasstop stove. It not only cleans, but it protects the glass surface so that spilled foods wipe away easily. It adds a more polished appearance to the stovetop, which helps to enrich the look of the stovetop.Unfortunately, the kit didn't come with any instructions, and I didn't realize that you have to flip the razor blade on the scrapper to make it work correctly.... it's just a safety feature during shipping. Luckily one of my friends showed me how to flip the razor blade.
