These worked great for my new cooktop. Just washing it caused it to streak badly. But these took care of the streaking and made it super easy to clean.

These are good wipes for cleaning my glass stove top. The rough side is pretty good for scrubbing. I'm not crazy about the smell, but they really work and are very convenient. They don't take the place of the red scrubby sponge for cleaning tough sticky spots. And they leave moisture that needs to be wiped dry with a paper towel. Definitely great for quick clean-ups though.

leaves a film on the cooktop..does not clean the grease and grime..end up using windex to clean and polish anyway

In my experience I have found that in order to really clean my ceramic cook top thoroughly Weiman Cook Top Glass Cleaner (the liquid) does a much better job with a cloth. These wipes help to remove any spill that finds its way onto the cook top, yes, but it is less expensive to use a damp cloth to do the same job (or a sheet of paper towel, if you prefer). I have used the Weiman Cook Top Glass Cook Top wipes with the Weiman Cook Top Glass Cleaner, and the top is then cleaned really well. However, in my opinion it is unnecessary and a waste to use both of them.These cooktop wipes have not really done the wipe up job economically let alone cleaning the cook top effectively.
