This thing is awesome, the light is perfectly diffused and emits a very nice glow! It gets quite bright and can light a whole small room, or it can be dimmed and is quite comfortable for my eyes even at night. This is by far the best desk lamp I’ve found so far, would recommend

I bought this for my boyfriend for gaming and scanning in cards. He loves this light it's very bright and also has a dim light too. I also like how it's portable you can move it from place to place without the hassle of taking it apart

This lamp attached to my desk easily. I have a riser desk and the cord on this is long enough to move to standing height, keeping in mind it depends where your plugs are. It has a set of switches for warm, cold and daylight and one can easily adjust the brightness. It works well for my virtual meetings and for general laptop work. Well built and quick delivery.

Wanted a desk lamp that could also improve lighting for video calls. I've tried putting diffusers on normal desk lamps and haven't had great success. This light is nice and big and provides great task lighting while also providing flattering and soft video light that doesn't hurt the eyes. It's tall enough to reach over my monitors even without using it's telescoping base. Works well as a video light even when angled for a desk light because it's tall enough. Decent price, glad to have a multifunctional light at work, will probably buy another one for home office.

Update: it's a very sturdy light fixture, provides a very soft light protection,has levels of color and brightness,is easy to put together as well. Definitely would have been better if 2 were included for the price, also, again as stated originally, the photos are misleading so eventually, you will want to purchase 2 of them to get both sides of your face evenly lit.Pretty misleading to put 2 of these in every promo photo but it's actually only for one I will update the review when I set it up.

Let me start by saying this isn't a bad product. It's absolutely going to work for my streaming to help bring my lighting up a notch. That being said, I don't know that this is worth $40 USD plus applicable taxes. It has the basic lighting control that you get on any standard ring light these days, so nothing special there. You can switch between three modes and then adjust the brightness level--very simple. So basically warm toned, neutral toned, and cool toned light.The problem with the switch however is its placement on the wire. It's smack dab in the middle, so it has ended up in a very awkward spot as far as accessibility goes to actually turn it on and off. If this were a light that were placed off to the side it wouldn't be an issue, but since it's marketed to go behind a monitor (which is exactly where mine is), the switch itself ends up somewhere behind said monitor and has to be fished out in order to turn the light on and off. And that's just with me plugging it into an outlet on top of my desk--if it had to be plugged in further down I fear the actual switch might end up lost behind the desk itself which is not optimal.Then there's the c-clamp that hooks it onto the desk, or in my case, the windowsill. It can open nice and large to hook onto a variety of flat surfaces, but the drawback is that there's a huge screw that has to come down to open it wide. On top of that the screw itself does not sit flush when it's fully screwed in, so you have extra length to contend with in general. This lends it to not play well in smaller areas, thus favoring wide open spots to be hooked onto. I may eventually try to find a different stand to hook it onto instead of the c-clamp, because it really is very awkward (and I couldn't get it onto the usual base I hook c-clamps to as my desk itself doesn't facilitate them).The arm that it comes with is nice and sturdy though, and I appreciate the simplicity of it. So far, right out of the package, it seems to hold its positioning well and not take much effort to adjust. I have concerns that the friction settings that it uses might wear down over time, but as I've had this light for all of 24hrs as of writing this review I can only speculate on that account.Overall I'm giving it a 4/5 star rating because while it functions as described, I think it does have those two glaring areas where improvement could be made for an item that is $40 USD.
