I use primarily for cleaning 1/4” phone jacks (in vintage guitars, amp, electronics), works perfectly for that application.

Not what I ordered. The picture demonstrates a spiral that loops around 12 or 13 times, but the unit I received looped around only about 7 times. Thus, it was much less dense, and much less useful.

I took off one star because of two things. One being that it needs to be a little longer and the other that it's not what I was expecting...This is a precision tool. The brush itself is steel and very, very firm. It will clean steel things that are exactly 1/4" very well. It was too firm for any applications I have, but I respect and appreciate its quality.

Bought this to clean a very particular object. Unfortunately, it is even too large for the space I need to reach. But the tip worked very well.
