I got this brush for cleaning my 1-1/4" fittings. It is quite loose in the 1-1/4" fittings but works how a pipe brush should in 1" fittings. Because I use a lot of 1" fittings and didn't have a brush for them, I kept it instead of returning it. It is smaller than the 1-1/4" fittings and has to be moved around in the orifice to clean while pushing it against the section of fitting it contacts. I gave a low rating because it doesn't adequately fit 1-1/4" fittings as it's advertised to do. If I didn't have a use for it in 1" fittings, it would've gotten 1 star and returned.

This was perfect for me. THis is a very stiff brush, I needed to clean the inside of a 1" steel tube after soldering it, and this worked great. It removes hard deposits, its not for gentle cleaning on soft stuff!
