Most people that are looking at this product are already Pickleball fanatics and are now weighting their paddle to get a larger sweet spot or Power. I personally like to widen my sweet spot. These are great. Sometimes I cut them in half but use too wide. I play around with it to see what works best for me.

Easy to use and superior replacement for lead tape. Maybe your lead tape has a protective film on it, but if it gets scrape off when your paddle hits the ground, you'll be handling lead when you grab your paddle. The adhesive is re-usable soon after first instal, but I've had used strips sit in my bag, and the adhesive is not the best after some time. Not that I'd expect that under those circumstances. Easy to unroll and cut to your length of choice. Love the measurement guide on back of package. Safer alternate to lead tape. Will buy again.

I purchased this tape to add some weight to a few pickleball paddles. I like that it's not lead and therefore not toxic. It is easy to cut, both horizontally and vertically (I have a 14mm paddle and was able to cut the tape in half, as well as a few 16mm paddles). The adhesive is great, and I anticipate having enough tape for quite a few paddles in the future. If looking for weighted tape for a pickleball paddle, I would definitely consider this.

Go for the tungsten. If the need to fine tune your paddle tungsten is truly the best option. Tungsten provides the option to distribute the weight at a greater distance compared to lead. I’ve switched to 1/2 ounce per inch because it gives me more options to dial in just the right balance. I do like this brand because the wide and lower profile. Some brands have a skinny and taller profile that ends up catching on something and peeling off faster compared to this brand. I also like the option of peeling off and moving the tape multiple times. If I’m careful I can move and replace more than a few times. Nice quality product and value for the price.

Great alternative option to Lead. The tape is flexible and cuts super easy unlike lead tape options. The 3M adhesive sticks great to the paddle. The tungsten tape is black so hides better on the paddle if you’re not using an edge tape/protector. Handling it with confidence knowing you don’t need to go and wash your hands and be careful what you touch afterwards like you do when handling lead tape. The package has the measurement guide on it so don’t throw it away. Super handy to get your setup right! Pricey but good stuff!!

This must have been my 4th or 5th purchase for the tungsten tape from Pickleball effect.- Love the 0.5 gram tape, it allows you to make smaller adjustments to the weight that the 1 gram tape does not allow you- The new packaging is so good because the bag is resealable so the content wont be all over your bag. Definitely an upgrade over the original packaging

I switched to this tungsten tape from the traditional 3 gram lead tape strips. I like the lower density allowing more coverage with no gaps, ensuring less concentrated weight distribution. Paddle feels great now. Highly recommend!
