Rubber Band that captures and holds the pickleballs breaks easily and is also too tight to allow easy pickup of balls. This creates extra effort to pick up loose balls. Balls also tend to get stuck as the tube fills up. Overall, not an efficient system but will better than bending over to collect loose pickleballs. Butter solution is a bin style with handles similar to a tennis balls practice bin.

Balls often need to be twisted into the tube to stay in, or rather you need to twist the tube to get the ball to stay in! . the rubber bands don’t always hold the ball in.Also why not let the balls to come out of the tube from the top so you don’t have to turn the tube upside down to remove the elastic band.Hope it’s easy to buy new bands when the ones supplied wear out,Update: the rubber band broke after about a dozen pickups… not good at all, find something else..

The idea of this is solid however its a cheap product unfortunately. The tube already cracked as it's too light and thin. It's hard to actually grab the balls it doesn't slip over the ball very easily.Disappointed for sure. Would not purchase again

I have a basket of old pickleballs for training. I got tired of picking them up by bending over and bought this tube. I figured all tubes must be the same and that was a bad assumption. This tube seems well constructed. The plastic is pretty thick and it doesn't feel flimsy to me. But, its got a weird design. I used a different brand tube and it was easy. One end is used to pick up the balls and the other end is open so you can dump them out. But, this tube is different. One end is closed as the designer was worried about balls spilling out if stored in the tube. The other end is used to collect the balls and dump them out. The ball collection end is closed by a black rubber band. The first clue that this might be an issue is that the tube comes with several rubber bands. The way it works. You string the rubber band across the end and force the tube down on a ball. The ball passes thru the rubber band and can't come out. When you're done, you remove the rubber band, dump out the ball and then restring the rubber band. It works but it's a nuisance. And when (not if) the rubber band breaks you'd better have another or it is unusable. I can't really recommend this product. There are others that are better for about the same price.

Like many new pickleballers, I'm not as young as I'd like. My back works well enough but when lots of bending over is avoidable, I'm happy to do better. This pickleball picker-upper is perfect for that. The first twenty or thirty balls seemed a little hard. Perhaps the prongs on the pickup end needed practice? Or, maybe I just wasn't pushing hard enough. All good now.The tube came with a bunch of black elastic bands. These are for the top end where you pour out the balls. With the elastic looped over the prongs, the balls stay inside, even if you lay the tube down. To release balls, spread the elastic to the outside of the tube. Easy. But, also easy to lose the elastic so I appreciated all the extras.Totally satisfied.

I’ve used this about 8 times since I bought it and it works pretty well. The plastic isn’t the best quality and my did for a large crack im assuming just from normal wear but I put tape over it and it still works ok. Would probably purchase another version of this with higher quality plastic if I had to do it again but overall this works as described. I do like that it has a fence hook and it’s lightweight and portable.
