I’m a pretty big guy and it seems like the hooks are too long and they don’t adjust. No matter how tight you make them they pull up on your wrist and the hook ends up on your finger tips instead of your lower palm. Awkward and uncomfortable. Maybe if they were shorter.

Well made and seemingly built to last. If you’re looking for something like this, there’s really no need to pay any more than what these cost. Wish the hook was bent a little more but I guess that’s probably how they all are.

I used the product during my workout today for back and biceps. I was able to get an extra rep or 2 in some cases, for my workouts today, but the problem is that the metal hooks are awkward to use in between sets, or workouts. I log all of my workouts on a spreadsheet on my phone, I keep my phone in my pocket. The hooks make it a bit difficult to reach into my pocket to grab my phone. Also, the ability to ditch a dumbbell at the point of failure is a no-go. You have to reach down and place the weight on the ground to disengage the hook. It's a great idea, but far from ideal.

Really like these straps , they take a bit of getting use to , as I use the traditional ones , it feels loose in comparison but you just have to keep in mind that you won’t drop it wether your using barebell or dumbbells or even for pull-ups chin ups . It’s very quick no wrapping straps . All in all I like them happy I purchased this item.

These are big and hefty. I’m quite impressed for the price. If you have small hands or wrists they might be too big or uncomfortable.

I have trouble sometimes and these help me with pull ups and farmer carries. My hands can now handle pulling up my body weight and carrying heavy weights as I do farmer carries, walking lunges, etc. when they tire.

I never knew these devices existed but I saw something similar on an industrial site for aiding in lifting heavy things repeatedly. I was having a hand procedure in a week or so, so I decided to look for them. I came across these for weightlifting. I have lifted heavy weights for decades, since HS, and to my mind if you are lifting so heavy that you need lifting hooks you are doing something wrong. BUT, if you need to splint or bolster your grip due to an injury or a hand procedure, these work great. I used them for pull-ups while healing from the procedure (doctor approved), on one hand only. They are really well made BUT as some have noted, NOT for the thin wristed. Now I am not one of those thick boned types, medium boned, but wear extra-large gloves and my wrists are certainly not dainty. (~7 1/2" , 19 cm.) However, I do have only about 3/8ths of an inch of hook and loop before I run out. The hook and loop is really "bitey" and holds really well enough to give good support to a 220 pounder for one arm pull-ups, so there is some leeway. But if you are a smaller boned person you may want to look elsewhere. Unless you eat a lot of spinach . . . You get two.
