I bought two of these. I have av55 gal fish tank with two filters, one on each side. By adding these dimmer switches adjusting light level is so easy. They plug righ into the light cord and light level goes from bright to relaxing low. Very pleased with this item and highly recommend it. Thank you.

I installed COB LED under counter lights that came with a RF wireless remote. The lights are also controlled by a standard wall switch. I wanted the lights to come on at the same intensity every time the switch was turned on. The install went great, but the neighbor also had a RF controlled item. My system picked up their remote's signals and so my lights were frequently changing. I was not successful attempting to shield my RF receiver from their signals. Not Good.So I installed one of these manual controllers in place of the RF controller. An exact fit. I then dialed in the brightness I wanted. Now my lights come on and stay at the same intensity all day everyday. They come on exactly like they went off. Perfect. And at a great price for 2.

I got these to have additional strings is 12v led lighting with on/off and dimming options. So it was easy to test. Unplugged current module and tested each unit. All worked as expected. My use is strong of white led along too of wall mounted tv. It gives adjustable room light near screen. Now I can use remaining led strings on other tv / monitor with these dimmers.

This dimmer is designed for use with devices that powered with 12 volts or 24 volts such as LED light strips. The dimmer features two connectors, one for input the other output, both are 5.5mm x 2.1mm which is a common size for LED devices but its worth checking to make sure your device will work. The dimmer fits between the original power source and the LED device. The knob controls the dimming function. My LED light turned off when the dimmer was set at the lowest setting, and was lit brightly at the highest setting. Its not exactly linear so the LED might turn off before the dimmer knob is turned all the way down. This has more to do with the LED than the dimmer.In all I like this inexpensive dimmer quite a bit. Its attractive and fits my decor. The knob is large and easy to turn. The device itself is small and easy to conceal. It works perfectly with my LED lamp. There is lots to like about this dimmer.
