Came in a beat up box. The screw that provides tension so the arm doesn't move around on the clamp is pretty shoddy and it takes quite a bit of work to get the arm mount in it in such a way that the screw makes contact.Base does not articulate just the mid joint which is also pretty annoying. I have an ikea desklamp next to this that would probably work better if it had a camera mount on it.

This is exactly what I needed for my remote meetings. My camera attached very easily, the device is strong and attached easily to my computer desktop. I can adjust it to the position that looks best in video, and it stays there. I don’t do frequent adjustments, so I pretty much leave it where it is and I’m very happy with it.

It positions my camera just fine, though it's a bit stiffer than I'd like. The one major design flaw is in the pivot on the clamp. The knob that tightens to prevent rotation does not work for me. The manufacturer has placed a piece of plastic in the hole for the base of the arm, probably to keep the knob from screwing too tightly onto the pivot and scarring it. But the wall thickness of the clamp is not enough for threads to give a good grip. The result is that I cannot insert the pivot into the hole without completely unscrewing the knob. Once it is inserted, I can't thread the knob into the hole. It's just not deep enough with that piece of plastic there. End result: no knob to tighten and keep the arm from rotating. I can probably take a knife and dig around inside to get that piece of plastic out, but it shouldn't be necessary to do this.

It gets the job done. But part of the reason I wanted this type of arm was for the flexibility of being able to easily position/reposition it. The arm itself is very stiff though, and requires more force than it should to move it. It is far more difficult to move than a similar arm I have a microphone mounted to, which I can easily move around.
