About Weaver

Founded by Harry A. Weaver in 1973 as the Fryburg Shoe Shop, Weaver grew from humble beginnings into the trusted manufacturer of a wide range of leather and nylon goods it is today. In the beginning, Harry concentrated on shoe repair, but before long he recognized the potential to expand into other markets. The fledgling company began handcrafting leather horse and cattle halters. The popularity of these halters led to the manufacture of more and more items prompting Weaver to become a driving force across various industries including equine, livestock, leather supply, pet, arborist, tool gear and custom manufacturing.

I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Trying to keep 200’ of anchor line untangled and ready for use was previously mission impossible. This solution is perfect!

Nice bag, there's room to spare with 200 of 1/2 and lots of room with 200' of 11.8mm.Zig zag photo is 11.8

Love the spring that keeps the bag open and round. Going to use this to leave at the base of the tree to pay out the rope during ascent, but doesn't look like it is "drop ready" from the tree, crane or bucket...

I have been able to fit a portawrap with a 30ft deadeye sling attached (5/8”) and approx 150 ft of 1/2” rigging rope into this bag. I put the portawrap on the bottom and some of the rigging rope is stored within the black synching part, but it fits just fine.Overall I’m happy with this bag, depending on the price. I paid 60$ Canadian when it was on sale, which I think is a steal. Currently it is closer to $100 Canadian, but you can buy a nicer and bigger rope bags for that price.

Not as sturdy as a Notch bag, but more affordable, and sturdy enough for people who don’t abuse their equipment. I like that it is collapsible

I like this bag. I like the spiral stay that keeps it upright and open when there isn't any rope in it. Super easy to feed rope back into since you don't have to hold it open.I was able to fit 200' of Petzl Flow 11.6mm and 150' of HTP Static 1/2" rope into it. Granted, the HTP has a stiffer hand, and the bag was pretty full. I wrap my steel core fliplines around it and use the straps to hang onto them. Great bag.

Mi primera impresión es de un producto sencillo pero muy buena calidad. Todavía no lo he utilizado mucho para saber que tan resistente es. Pero me quedo con una excelente primera impresión.

Decent rope bag! Best part about the whole bag is that the flap on top goes around the bag when putting your rope in, all other bags i have don't do this and it's a pain in the bum, very good bag, love it and love the color

I give it a five-star because it's rugged, it's adjustable as in vertical it will collapse and you can fix it to your own liking. It has an enclosed top and it also has a piece of rubber that seats in the bottom of the bag.I have a 150 ft half-inch rope there's still some room left. I highly doubt this bag would hold 150 ft of 5/8" rope. Just in case if you're curious I'd move on.

The bag is rated for 150' of 1/2" rope, but it will hold 175' easily. I like its ability to stand up rigid like a pail to spool the rope back into it. It's also one of the more inexpensive rope bags, which is not too shabby.
