I used these to remove some stubborn limescale stains off of my pool. We have very hard water and it creates a tough scale at the waterline on the pool tiles. I sprayed the scale buildup with CLR cleaner. At first I used a scrub pad to try to remove the scale. Tough process. Then I used these pumice stones. I can say it was an easy process as compared to the scrub pad. The pumice is the correct density to remove the scale without scraping or marring the tile. I used 3 pumice stones. Worth every penny!
