I mean truly it does what it needs to do. Easy to travel with (no surprise travel case included). You have multiple sources of power specifically to connect an HDMI, USB-C, USB-A, etc. You must install the device software on to your PC before you can use it. But oddly not surprising — is that my age showing? The software may not work on a MAC PC on an outdated OS as an FYI.

For the most part set up was essentially plug & play, however a few requirements are needed for Mac users. Once downloaded and connected both monitors detected inputs immediately. Haven't tried quad monitors yet however no doubt it'll work fine. Had previous problems using another brand docking and would always loose input signal, so far this works perfectly.Note(s):1. Displaylink driver/app is required for Mac to detect. Was hoping native support but apparently download uses some SW to emulate pixels to display? Can read more on manufacturers website.2. Oddly you need to enable Mac privacy>screen recording or again will not detect and give error message. See thier website for details.3. I used both HDMI and DP connections for dual monitor support and it worked flawlessly. Allowed for both monitor arrangements and refresh settings.Aside from needing driver/app along with allowing privacy setting this device is the best one I've used thus far.

This is fantastic! Four external displays on an M1 MacBook Air plus the built in display for a total of five displays.Software from Synaptics is required, specifically the DisplayLink Manager. That's available for a number of platforms. No other software or drivers were required. There are two HDMI ports and two DisplayPort type ports. It also supports PD passthrough so all this using just one USC-C port on my MacBook Air.After installing the software I simply plugged in two monitors using HDMI cables and two monitors using DisplayPort cables. After rearranging the display in the macOS settings I had four independent external displays all displaying separate content allowing me to move apps to any of them independently and my mouse could move freely between them. This is in addition to the built display of my MacBook Air.

Good quality, compact size, great video:This product is well made and feels solid and durable while handling. The product has a relatively flat and compact design too and allows for a clean look and good wire management on even a small desk. The front facing video inputs also make it a bit easier to set up. The product's video output has been very impressive, and it's able to maintain the full HD picture even while streaming to multiple devices simultaneously. The video has been smooth, the resolution high and there isn't a noticeable latency while using.Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.

It does exactly what it should - connects up to four monitors without any fuss. I hooked it up to my laptop and used a mix of DisplayPort and HDMI connections. Everything worked right away.Setup couldn't be simpler - just plug your computer into one end and your monitors into the other. For Windows users, all you need to do is right-click the desktop, choose Display Settings, and arrange your monitors to match your physical setup. This step is really important if you've never used multiple monitors before - it helps you avoid losing your mouse between screens when you're moving between displays. The performance is excellent. There's no lag when moving windows between screens, and the image quality is consistent across all displays. The build quality feels solid too.I didn't have any power issues with my setup. The adapter handled everything smoothly without needing extra power sources. The only limitation worth noting is that it has exactly two HDMI ports and two DisplayPort connections. If you need three or four of the same connection type, you might need additional adapters, but I didn't test this configuration. If you’re looking to expand your workspace with multiple monitors, this adapter is straightforward and works well.

I was prepared to spend 30 minutes figuring out how to set this up and use it, but didn't need nearly that much time! It is literally plug and play. It works seamlessly with my ASUS Vivobook with no instability. I have had problems with similar products not being compatible, having an unstable connections, or just not working as expected; but this one truly works and works well! It only took two steps to extend my laptop to two additional monitors. The first step was to plug in the USB A plug from the device into my laptop. It also could plug into a USB C, but I have not tested that method, as I did not need it. Step two, plug my HDMI cords from each of my monitors, and viola, I have three screens (including my laptop's screen). I am super pleased with this product!

This adapter is doing a lot and perhaps not enough all at the same time. I really do enjoy that you can connect up to 4 displays at once. It's a bit of a bummer that they all can't output a consistent 4k at 120hz. I have a TV that has an HDMI 2.1 port so was disappointed to learn I couldn't get that from the HDMI slot here. But overall, the fact that you can get 4 displays with two of them supporting 4k 120hz (via DisplayPort) is still great. It's a bit pricy for what you get, especially since you would likely need another device to plug in other peripherals. Overall, I was looking for something that could connect 4 displays via USB-C and this certainly accomplishes that.
