Setup as an outside access point on the right side of my house using ethernet as the backbone to support my security cameras, which sometimes buffered with my internal mesh system. The signal is now strong and doesn't buffer at all. This would not work with my DECO mesh system, but that's ok, this gives me the coverage I need outside. The speed is great and I don't have to wrry about missing an important recording ever again.

I’m really liking this access point for my outdoor space. I’ve got it meshed with another Wavelink AP and it meshes great!Setup is super simple even if you’re not tech savvy, the app is super intuitive. The design looks pretty cool, it does stand out which isn’t a problem for me but something to keep in mind. The coverage and speeds are great even compared to other APs that I’ve used. It really does add a ton of functionality to your space or in cases like mine where your house is several hundred feet away from your house and you need internet all the way out there. The distances and speeds are10 feet 900Mbps200 feet 349Mbps250 feet inside my shop without the mesh node 67Mbps250 feet 346Mbps inside my shop without the mesh node enabled.TLDR: It’s super easy to setup and use and works great! Would recommend!!

I recently installed an outdoor Wifi extender in my backyard to improve the internet coverage. It integrates seamlessly with my existing network. The extender is powered through a ethernet cable which made installation easy especially since I didn't need a power outlet nearby. It is waterproof and has withstood various weather conditions without any issues. The strong signal from its multiple antennas has enhanced the Wifi coverage in my outdoor area. This extender has been a great addition to my home network with reliable internet access even in my large backyard.

I used this to replace another booster I have mounted under our RV canopy. The idea is to take the signal from our home internet and broadcast it to our motorhome and outside internet enabled devices like lights and an Alexa. The range is a lot better and seems to be more stable for our Wyze cameras, the ones farther out seem to be more consistent now. Setup was easy for me but I could see where some less tech savvy folks would have a hard time with it. I'm a fan of this WavLink product as I've been a fan of two other WavLink products I use.

This worked well and was easy to setup. The mounting was the most challenging part but comes with ALMOST everything you need. I used this as an Access Point and Pole Mounted. It does support power through ethernet. The only thing I have an issue with is that it is says it is Lightning Proof. In my experience nothing is really "lightning Proof"

Can't use it in router mode.Have this connected to my xfinity gateway (which is in bridge mode) and I set it to router mode. But the blue light just keeps blinking and never turns solid.I've tried plugging it in to multiple ports and no dice. My other router works perfectly fine as a router. Wanted to use this as it (i believe) would give me better speeds and a better wifi signals.I connect to my devices just fine, but never picks up access..Tried to put it in AP mode and get a solid blue light, but still no internet accerss.Of course I unplugged the other router from the xfinity gateway before using this one.

This access point is very powerful. I only have a single unit so I could only evaluate the AP or access point performance. I set it up in my garage right next to one of my orbi(RBS750) satellites, to compare speed and signal strength. This access point was able for the most part to keep up with the orbi system. Where this access point really shines is its ability to have signal travel over great distances and penetrate buildings. The speed of the orbi satellite, in the same location as this access point, was slightly higher. However my orbi system is not behaving reliably since the last upgrade, which is what prompted me to start looking at access points to have a more reliable WiFi signal. The setup for this access point was extremely simple. As soon as you turn on the access point it starts broadcasting its Wi-Fi which you connect to using its default password, once you're connected to that access point it takes under a minute to configure and set up the access point in whatever mode you choose.Another feature that is extremely critical, which many products on the market today are lacking, is the ability to separate the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks. Even though we've had smart home devices for almost 10 years now the manufacturers insist on using 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi for communications, yet our router manufacturers didn't seem to get the memo and do not most do not allow the bands to be separated creating huge problems for smart home devices, where these smart home devices will only connect to a 2.4 GHz network and again many router manufacturers insist on only broadcasting one signal for both bands. This is not the case with this access point You can easily separate the Wi-Fi bands into 2.4 and 5 GHz.Not only is this device an access point but it can also function as a router to issue out IP addresses.Package also contains a POE injector in the case you do not have POE available in your setup already.
