If you are questioning this product DO NOT! This was the best purchase. I put my FULL trust into this product and have NO regrets. I traveled 2400 miles with all my belongings. No issues. I also had a 7ft ladder on top with additional straps. Mountains, heat, cold temperatures and moisture with no problem. Of course you hear strap movement and wind that’s just natural but it’s no big deal. The price of this bag is not beatable! I would buy this product time and time again. Perfect fit for my car. Amazing durability for my trip. No rips or tears. Straps held securely. Wish I would have remembered to take a picture but the trip was so long. I went 60-62 mph the entire time just for safety and reassurance reasons. All miles were traveled via highway.

Really impressed with this cargo bag. Packed it full on top of my Jeep Cherokee. Easy to set up. Drove from Colorado to Central Texas during some heavy rain. Nothing inside was wet. Completely protected. Covered in bugs after the trip but easy to wash and wipe down. Used multiple times since then and worth the purchase. Highly recommend.

I'm extremely disappointed with the luggage cargo bag I received, which is not as advertised description in several key areas.*Misleading Description:*- There is no brand name "Kimevan" printed in the bag or the package, which takes out the TRUST on the seller- The product claims to have a "3 layer all weather fabric," but the actual material is a single layer of PVC, essentially a rain cover, not a sturdy bag.- The weight is significantly less than stated (approximately 250g vs. 7 pounds), raising concerns about its durability.- The straps are narrow (1 inch wide) and not very adjustable, which may compromise comfort and functionality.Given the discrepancies, I question the bag's ability to handle heavy luggage, contradicting the "heavy-duty" claim. I don't want to take risk in using this *rain cover* as roof bag & pose life threatening risk to other riders on the road.Hence, I'm returning this product. I actually planned my trip trusting this product, but this came 1day before my trip and now, my total luggage needs to be compromised and reduced due to this issue for my trip.

I ordered this bag to open up space in my car when we went camping. We drove 500miles and it held up amazing!! Since I have a sunroof on my car and cross bars, I added a peice of plywood to the inside bottom of the bag and put everything ontop of that inside. It worked great and didn’t put the weight on my sunroof. I also added 2 additional crank straps just to make it a bit more secure. I was able to fit all of our camping gear for 6 people in the bag and my car was nice and comfy! It didn’t rain, so I can’t fully attest to it being waterproof, but there are additional flaps that seem like it would keep the water out. Great bag for the price!!!

The stitching is weak not sure if it can withstand wind and thee 2 reinforcement straps are also missing. Should have stronger stitches for the straps to withstand. Return is also not getting picked up by Amazon.

If there was a way to give a this overly complicated piece of horse manure a less than one star, I would happily do so. Products like this should be durable, simple, and easy to use; yet this one fails spectacularly at all three. It begins with trying to locate the zippers underneath the unnecessary double Velcro layers that cover the entire zipper to prevent water from entering the storage compartment. This is unnecessary because the corners and seams will soon tear and develop a hole into the compartment after one use, rendering the waterproof zipper feature useless.Should you figure out how to open the bag, securing it to your roof will be your next challenge for several reasons. First, the method of lengthening and/or tightening the straps is so stupid, it’s beyond comprehension. This should be the easiest part of using this, but it is probably the most frustrating. Then, if you’re actually able to figure out how to use the straps, pray then that they will actually stay attached to the bag and not tear away from the bag less than three hours into your initial use. Actually, it now makes sense as to why there are way more straps on this bag than necessary, because you will need to use them all in order to keep your belongings from flying off your roof as the straps eventually rip off the bag one by one.We used this product 1.5 times. The bag lost a strap approximately 3 hours into the first drive, and developed a rip in the seam by the end of the 9 hour drive. The .5 use is because another strap broke halfway into our return trip, so I had to pull over onto the shoulder on the interstate to avoid a catastrophic accident and jerked this joke of a product off the roof and shove it’s contents into our minivan. The attached photos are after about 12 hours of driving. Spend your money elsewhere.

Good product, if you have a solid roof car lige Tata Safari or else, no need to install a luggage carrier while using this product.Water proofing is good. In case if there is heavy rain and you are cruising on high speed, little bit of water can enter inside.

Holds way more than expected!I was able to fit three larg camping chairs, an 8 person tent, 3 twin blow up mattresses, a queen blow up mattress, and a duffle bag of clothing, and there was still a little extra room! The quality is great! The zipper seems strong and feels like it will last a long while. Driving 70 on the freeway didn't create any wind noise and the straps didn't loosen after about 150 miles and a few days of driving. The bag was also super easy to install. Drove in the rain and everything in the bag stayed 100% dry. Overall worth the price if you aren't willing to shill out 600 dollars for a hard storage case.

This bag will survive travel.I recently returned another brand soft rooftop carrier because the material was thin, the strap attachments were poorly sewn(straps were pulling from bag after a single short trip) and the straps themselves were thin and cheap.THIS BAG IS SO MUCH DIFFERENT.1. The material is substantially thicker.2. The straps are thicker and the buckles are bigger and stronger.3. This bag has long straps that go through loops in the top of the bag. The straps go all the way across the bag front and back (or side to side) and attach on both sides.4. Better zipper and waterproofing.Excellent bag as far as I can tell. The bag has survived a short trip so far. Worked well.I’ll update after a few trips.

I bought this to use when driving down south for a road trip and it freed up a lot of space in the car. Quality is great, waterproofing is perfect, and the zippers have double protection to ensure no water gets in. It’s a really good size, I think we had two very large suitcases and still plenty of room for smaller bags. One thing I was not crazy about was the way to install it, which went inside your car, please look at product pictures for reference. But I didn’t see any other options as the car we were driving did not have a roof rack so there weren’t a lot of alternatives. You have to tighten it really well or there’s a lot of noise vibration from the straps inside the car when you’re driving.
